Welcome to the 3rd edition of The Long Way, featuring 2x DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champion, 1x DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling Tag Festival Winner, 1/2 of Violence is Forever, "The Bone Collector" Dominic Garrini!
This month, Dom has picked not only a favorite of his, but a favorite of the Patreon. A fellow dipper in his own, Dom wanted to see us go back to the land of the Ultimate Fighting, and he wanted to watch UFC 8: David vs Goliath! This is one show removed from UFC 7.5: The Ultimate Ultimate (which we'll do at some point), and is one of Dom's favorite UFC events of all time.
The gimmick for this event is it's all about THE SIZE; they're putting huge guys against smaller guys for the ultimate freak fights. Of course, we'll also see another UFC SUPERFIGHT, where Ken Shamrock takes on Kimo.

The other story re: paul vs taz was that they were still worried Paul was going to shoot on Taz even after he agreed, hence saturn coming off the top and legit drop kicking/landing on Pauls head(although that could've also just been mythologized and it was just part of the agreed finish).

I had no clue this was the one where Goodridge crucifix’s a guy Jesus style and elbows him to shit. One of the best ufc finishes of all time.

In a UFC 10 watch you should start it off with 9 but have it run at like 500% speed lol

Unreal show. As someone who knows nothing about UFC outside of what has been covered on Deadlock, that fuckin Goodridge crucifix elbows thing was insane to see. Also, Don Frye is the coolest looking dude ever, I wanna be Don Frye when i grow up.
