It’s episode number 291 of the podcast and episode 291 of WWF Monday Night Raw! WWF Raw is War from December 21st, 1998 kicks off with Mr. McMahon exiting the arena. He hands over the reins to Shane McMahon, who now holds the keys to the kingdom. Shane McMahon wastes no time booking the entire show. First up, he challenges Mankind to a Street Fight. Then, Billy Gunn squares off against Ken Shamrock, while Road Dogg takes on the Big Bossman. The main event pits DX against The Corporation, with X-Pac and Triple H vs The Rock and Test. As the main event unfolds Kane arrives! In a shocking turn of events, he unleashes devastating chokeslams on all of DX! Kane then reveals his new alliance with The Corporation, dubbed their " Christmas Bonus" by Shane McMahon!

I don’t remember why they couldn’t fire him but yes they wanted Mark Henry to quit, his contract was for ten years and they didn’t see anything in him after barely two, so they were humiliating him every week

This was the very first Raw I ever attended live! I was in the second row seat one on the announcer desk side of the ring, and had a straight shot view of the bloodbath. I vividly remember notices on the doors as we went into the Spokane Arena that both Undertaker and Steve Austin would not be there tonight.
I was born right after this but my brother has the same memory lol, he was devastated about the undertaker. I’ve been waiting for them to do this episode for a while hopefully they get the other Spokane episodes someday, most random shit always happens.

Since Test, Shane, and The Stooges were a big topic in this episode, I'd like to suggest the Test vs Shane match from Summerslam 1999 for Watch This. Test is fighting for his right to marry Steph. It's probably the best match of Test's career other than his asskicker match with Brock at KotR.
