I used to defend this team with a voice of reason, but my long silence is a sign of my lost patience. Here is a few facts: They use the cheapest tools to create their game, a lot of is license free, even the character template was created by another who offer it as freeware for creators. All she asked for was a tip jar her way if creators made some money of it . They even got free fan help with a lot of things, such as text corrections, bug reports etc. Their Goals for income was reached long ago, take a look at "Overview". 4th Goal was $3000 a month so they could quit their day time job and work full time on this game. 5th and final goal was $5000 a month so they could hire a new team member to increase quality and development speed. For more than 2 Years have their income been above $11.000 a month, at some point it was $15.000 a month, for like a year or so.. lets say it's an average of $13.000 a month for 2 years.. that would make it $312.000 this team have earned on this game, for just the last 2 years... Now Imagine what this game would be like if some of that money had actually been invested into game improvement? Take a look at other developers who make games with 3D graphic and rendered high quality images.. imagine how they would drool for the ability to invest into hardware which would speed up their progress, or hire voice actors for their games (which can be a costly affair) Non of those have any pledged monthly income even close to what this team gets. And what do we expect they invest all those funds into? Regular game updates and story progression, hire some more hands if they need it (that they surely must be able to afford by now, even freelances on short term basis would not ruin them). But even that appears impossible. PS: Daddy is not mad or angry, Daddy is Disappointed!

I know this has been said many many many times before, but Simbro, please stop promising things you KNOW you you can't deliver on. 2.5 before September 29th my ass. Fix the old things that people are complaining about and stop adding new shit. Every time you announce a delay you always pair it with some new event or mechanic that's supposed to smooth things over. But all it really does is just delay the countdown. We don't want half-assed events that are full of bugs. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'd rather have a full month of bug fixes rather than a full month of buggy 'new' content.

T4bbo has had a time constraint that makes it possible to complete a small portion of the game and release it on time (in 2 days) or he can continue to work and give his patrons a larger gameplay at a cost of 2 weeks. Quite honestly this game is my favorite of all ive come across on this site. ive been supporting the project since its very early stages. But im saddened to see the lack of replies by developers, while i understand there may be some issues at home and such. A clear and concise message to us letting us know of said issues and what their plans are to improve would be appreciated. If the team needs a break thats fine, freeze pledges and take time off, return when you are ready to commit to this JOB as it is a JOB.

I read a comment someone posted the other day saying they noticed how the countdown timer said the update would be ready in 7 days which would have been on Sept 15, but there was a message under the timer that said it would be released on Sept 30. I was convinced they had no intention of releasing a finished product on time, but for them to wait till the last hour to change it was just a big FUCK YOU to all you people paying anything, even just 1$ to them.

Every single one of you guys still supporting this game first of all, deserves this treatment from Simbro. You know that every single month this shit happens and its only getting worse. You got nothing for an update last month and nothing again this month. Secondly, at this point, it's safe for me to say that you are supporting crooks. When a supporter pledges, they have 2 options. The first is to DONATE to Simbro, with NO REWARDS. The second is pledging an agreement that for a certain amount of money, the supporter will have access to exclusive material or content. So far, Simbro has not done anything wrong with this part of the agreement. What makes them criminal is when they put out PUBLIC post's stating an upcoming update with a countdown. They are advertising new content for the public to see, NOT JUST SUPPORTERS. By putting out these public post's, they are now fishing for new patrons using the promise of new content on a countdown as the bait and actively trying to get more people to pay for a months subscription. This is false advertising and essentially stealing. Now I have been around this game for a long, long time. Roughly 2 years, back before this game was nothing more than an MC/FC with slums, a bank, and a hospital, and 1 floor in the brothel. All you people telling others to give Simbro a chance, or how we have no idea how much money they need to cover costs, or how if everyone stops supporting Simbro they will stop working on the game, or any of your other wild fantasies, just stop right now. There is nothing you can say that changes the facts. This is a 2D flash game. Any moron can watch a youtube video and learn how to make this game. As for cost, I don't care. I have been following and supporting games with 1 dev that does everything alone and puts out new and story related content each month. I have supported and currently follow games that have full teams of people and do just the same. How much they spend on this game is their problem, not ours. It all depends on who's running it and Simbro isn't being run by anyone decent. A lot of these added features seem like really good ideas, honestly I can't wait until they release, and of course I understand bug fixes, but delay after delay after delay it is insulting, annoying, and embarrassing to the project itself. If devs continually cannot meet a schedule they need to make changes. I see people saying to get rid of the schedule, but honestly when you have a goal that you can't reach you don't lower that goal, you improve yourself. Fire someone, hire someone, resolve to do better, get better equipment, work longer hours, whatever you have to do to improve yourself to meeting your goals you should do. Otherwise this project is going to suffer a similar fate to BS, where it just simply collapses.

I understand that this is an ambitious project, but when you set yourself a deadline and have clients paying you for a product, you can't keep rolling back the clock. It'd frustrating, and it makes me feel like I'm wasting my money.

I hate repeating myself, but I hate that you can't keep your promises... so once again: YOU ARE GETTING TOO MUCH MONEY TO REMAIN THIS UNPROFESSIONAL! You get enough for 2 full time staff members or even 5 full time workers at minimum wage. Show an appropriate level of effort, and keep to your deadlines. I think it's time for us to boycott SimBro so they can just release the game they promise. We gave them enough chances to fix this game and they are still "fixing" the bugs in the game. To me they use that as an excuse to keep us around and postpone the release. They don't even respond to comments anymore so I'm done with this game and its developers.

why cant u just release it then doa hotfix when ever u finish all the stuff you decide to fix or add at the last minute....you do like 3 countdowns b4 u release the next version...its getting really old

Oh yes a dollar or two was lost from your accounts, how sad. I lose $12 a year on this game and I lose more on an entire completed game that takes months to fix it's bugs in one sale including $7+ microtransactions. Can most of you calm down? Programming is hard and I take it from anyone using play shapes to push their game, they're not that versed.

Do you have a guide to the game or a way to download the game to my computer? I went to your blogspot and I don't see a way. I'm not sure how to progress to the story or get more from the game without cheats.

This is what happens to games that get a good monthly sum lumping up, they lose interest and instead of proper updates, we get half arsed images and excuses for delays. So, I'm done. I suggest the rest of you stop pledging, maybe then the developers will remember the level of quality they once had and lost and perhaps regain it.

So the sad part about this is that half of us who pledge to you from last month never got to play the last update because our system couldn't recognize it. Now we have to wait almost a full month now to play whats in your 2.4b update in the 2.5 update. It's great that your adding all these features and stuff, but don't ignore your those who are giving you support. Perhaps change your release time date to the middle of every month rather than the beginning, or compromise with us. Don't ignore those that have been with you, and are still with you.

Last month they gave us half and update that broke the game and didn't work and now they go another month with zero content and bullshit delays... a word of advice, maybe you guys should finish the update BEFORE you start the countdown. Personally I'm more fine with skipping months than with having 2 or 3 incremental delays. All those give us are more buggy features. It takes maturity for them to recognize they have another 10 days of work before the release will be good.

Stop with that countdown bullshit. Instead, keep us consistently updated on a day to day basis.

Ok, it's over. You already had a month delay and now you added one more. It's inexplicable that you delay the release date twice, first a week and second two weeks, there's no reason for that, months have 30 days. you can't tell me the 25th day that you need 21 days more.If you have no fucking idea to stimate your progress, program shorter releases. It's not about the money I'm spending in this, but about the money you're earning without doing the job you promised...you're earning 11k a month, and you promised monthly updates from 1k... so what's the fucking problem?

Honestly, I think they should stop using that countdown or dates altogether. They break promise after promise which is worse than not making promises. It seems that the devs are overestimating their own capabilities ... please stop
