GB Patch

Well, the guest start poll for October is coming out late because I forgot to schedule it earlier in the month. I'm sorry for that, but there's still time to do a poll for this! It's hard to believe but this will be the last guest art piece before the month when the early access is going to come out

It's hard to believe it, but the next guest piece is going to be fall themed 😳. It's almost the OLNF time of year in the northern hemisphere. Before the early access release of that game in November, I think it'd be good to remember where we started. The next bonus art piece will be of Cove in cold

We've got one guest art left to celebrate Step 3 side characters in summer! This poll has the main grown ups as options, excluding Opal because she's already gotten a guest piece this year. Feel free to leave comments on what you think the parent, grandparent, or "uncle" should be doing. The poll wi

Time to vote for next month's guest piece. We're giving side characters attention right now and it's Serenity's turn. Her Step 3 design will be used for this. So, the poll will be deciding what they're up to! Serenity is gonna be enjoying the summer season. The poll will close on June 9th. Normally

The guest art pieces will continue the Step 3 theme. This time you can vote on one of your peers getting featured, not including the leads or Ren. Ren has gotten multiple guest pieces already so somebody else is gonna have a turn, haha. So, Serenity, Vianca, or even Pran could have a bonus art piece

Next month's guest art is gonna be of Step 3 Tamarack. There will be a spring season setting/theme! You can leave a comment to let me know which hair length and accessories for her to use. The poll will close on April 8th. Happy voting!

Alright, this month I'm aiming to get Step 2's script either finished or very nearly finished! So, it makes sense for the guest piece next month to be a Step 3 version of one of the leads. You can vote on which one it is and leave a comment about what hairstyle/accessories they've got. The poll will

Today, we'll be voting on a concept for the March guest art. And, believe it or not, I'm aiming to finish the Step 2 script in March! February I'll be completing the 10th Moment, ideally it'll happen with days left in Feb, and the Fall Ended section shouldn't take several weeks to complete. So, this

Hey! Here's the first poll actually happening in the new year. It'll be for the guest art happening next month. February has Valentine's Day and we usually have the leads celebrating that holiday for the guest piece. But adults can enjoy the holiday, too! So, this month you can vote on which parent/

A 2026 guest piece? That's just wrong. But we have no choice, we must accept the passage of time. So, we'll be voting on a guest piece that won't be shown until next year. The theme will be a happy GB Patch new year! You can choose between some classic OL1 trios and duos to be celebrating together.

I can't believe it, we've gotta make plans for the final guest art of this entire year 😭. I don't even know what to do about this. I guess it'd be fun to go back to Step 1. That time period was completed in 2025 and it's been a while since we've posted the cute kids. I think we'll do a classic acti

November is the month we're going to have a big public demo update! So I thought it'd make sense for the guest art of the month to feature Tamarack and Qiu as their Step 2 selves. They'll also be in their usual outfits, so the poll is about which hairstyle to use. You can also leave a comment to sug

Alright! Tamarack had her turn getting a cute school-y kid guest art. Now we'll be voting on a concept for Qiu. Also, feel free to comment on which hairstyle should be used and if any of Qiu's extra accessories are added. The poll will close on September 9th. Happy voting!

Fall is coming! And for those still in school, it's nearing back to class time. Because of that I think it'd be fun to have a cute school themed guest piece. This month it will be for Step 2 Tamarack (next month Qiu will have a turn). You can leave a comment to say which hairstyle she should have an

We're continuing the poll theme from the past couple months, but with even more of a theme! Next month's guest art will be a scene from Our Life: B&A that didn't get a CG. Very specifically, it will be of the different outings with Cove from the Moment "Happiness" in Step 3. Feel free to leave a com

In June we got a cute picture of baby Cove based on a real Step 1 scene that didn't have a CG. Let's do it again but for Step 2 Cove! I've listed some charming Moments that don't have a unique image in the actual game. The poll will close on June 9th. Happy voting!

Okay, this should've gone up yesterday but I forgot, haha. I was just too distracted by the wonderful Mrs. Lin costume. Still, now it's time to vote on the June guest art piece. It's been far too long since we've scene little, baby Cove. This round we're going to vote on making an image of a classic

It's voting time! May has mother's day, so it's been a tradition to have the guest piece be of one of the many wonderful moms in the OL series. Opal Second has gotten more than one guest piece about her, Kyra Preece and Yi Lin have been featured in the past too, too. But I don't remember some of the

I got a little thrown off at the start of this month because of the Cove pin merch launch, but here's the guest art poll for April! March opened with a super cute picture of Tamarack as a spring fairy. But Qiu also won, so let's also have a piece with them as some kind of cute, spring spirit or elf

Next month spring begins! We'll celebrate that by having a very spring-y guest art piece. I'm thinking we'll do an Our Life lead as a flower fairy/sprite/elf/whatever. The exact design will depend on the character who wins, but it will be floral and fantastical! None of the leads are spring themed i

Hey, I've got a poll for today! Next month is February so the guest art has gotta be Valentine's Day themed. Last year Qiu got to be the focus, so this time Tamarack gets to celebrate the day of love 💖 She can either be making a gift for her special valentine or she could be getting a present herse

The guest art for next month is once again a new year celebration image. 2024 is basically over already. We could use this either to celebrate Step 1 being fully written or Step 2 being fully into production or both. The piece will include two characters. It could be Tamarack and Qiu in Steps 1 or 2

Hey! It's time to vote for next month's bonus piece. It'll be December then and I'd like to have something fun and snowy. Here, you can pick out what the seasonal activity will be. You can leave a comment to say which character you think should be doing it. The poll will close on November 8th.

Hi 👋 Today we can start voting on the bonus guest art piece that'll be posted on November 1st. We're planning to have a public demo expansion that month, so I think it makes sense for the image to feature one of the Step 2 characters you'll get to see in the demo. However, let's skip the obvious op

Hello everyone! Normally this poll goes up on the 3rd of the month, but it was a day off this time. I've got it ready now. Last year we were preparing for the OL2 Kickstarter so there was no fun Halloween image. This year I feel like there should be something cute with Qiu and Tamarack in their cost

Wow, it's already time to get an autumn themed guest piece. Since this is when a lot of people are headed back to school, I think we should have somebody dressed up in an academic aesthetic kind of outfit. I'll put all three of the main OL series leads on poll this time. You can leave a comment on w

Today we get to vote on the final "summer beach" series of guest art pieces. Renee is gonna get her turn to enjoy some rays. Tamarack and Qiu had active poses, so Renee will be taking it easy. Feel free to leave comments on how she should specifically be doing that. Also, Renee doesn't have multiple

And here's the poll to vote on Tamarack's hairstyle! Tamarack likely wouldn't wear her glasses to the beach and her other accessories don't make too much sense to wear either. So, that's all decided by default. Because of that, you can leave a comment on whether you think Tamarack should have her ha

Alright, since this month Qiu got their summer fun bonus piece, next up is Tamarack! She'll be her Step 3 self. This poll will be voting on the general tone of the image and another poll to choose her hairstyle is coming up in a minute. Also, I removed the "Playing game/being active in the ocean." o

Here's the second poll! Let me know which hair length Qiu should go with as they're having beach adventures. Also, feel free to leave a comment on if you think they should have earrings or not. They will have their nails painted in this image. The poll will close on May 8th. Have fun deciding!

The summer season is almost here in the northern hemisphere and I've decided that this year we're gonna do a series of beach episode guest pieces! Step 3 Qiu, Tamarack, and Renee will be featured during June, July, and August, enjoying some fun in the sun at the shoreline. For Qiu and Tamarack there

It's time to vote on another piece of bonus art. Since May is the month of mother's, let's have a mom be featured! And since we've already had an Opal piece in the past, and 'cause she'd almost certainly win the poll by, let's leave her off and choose one of the side mommies, haha. The poll will clo

Hey everyone! It's been a while since we've had a side character bonus piece. I'm thinking it'll be one of your peers in Step 3. Whoever wins will be enjoying some lovely spring weather in Golden Grove. The poll will close on March 8th. Happy voting ✨

Hey everyone! It's time to plan for next month's guest piece. Last month we had a cute Qiu Valentine's image, so this month it's gonna be Tamarack. And because we generally end up with Step 3 pieces, the options will be Step 1 or 2 for variety's sake. I'm also doing something a little different this

Here's the other poll. Next month is Valentine's Day, so that's an obvious choice of theme. But it doesn't have to be based on that holiday. You can vote for the character you want HERE. The poll will close on January 8th.

Hey! It's time to start voting on next month's bonus piece of art. I'm thinking it's gonna be a cute image a Step 1 kid. It's been a little while since we've had that age. Here you can vote on which one it should be. In just a minute, another poll will appear that will have different premises to cho

And here's the Step Poll! Step 4 isn't an option because Qiu and Tamarack don't have Step 4 designs yet. Derek doesn't have a Step 1 version in any game, but he has been featured as a kid in a prior bonus piece so it'd still work even OL1 leads at Step 1 did win. Here's a link to the first poll! Pol

Hi! Next month's guest art will be bringing in the new year. It's wild. But because of that, the premise will be the characters generally celebrating. So what you can all vote on is which characters will get to show up. I like to have new year pieces that highlight the leads of a game or the series

Here's that second poll I mentioned. This vote will set how old Tamarack is in the December guest art. And you're welcome to leave a comment to mention what hairstyle she should have for Steps besides Step 1! Poll closes November 8th

Alright, it's time to vote for the next piece of bonus art. This is gonna be the final one for the entire year 😳! Last December Qiu was featured and it's been a while since Tamarack had a stand alone image, so I think she ought to be the character included. This poll will determine what wintery act

Alright, I've got the usual monthly guest art poll up. I figured since last month had both Qiu and Tamarack already and it would make sense to still celebrate Our Life: Now & Forever while the Kickstarter is running, we should give the bonus piece to the other Golden Grove local you get to grow up w

Here's that premise poll I mentioned. Since this will be shown in the lead up to the crowdfunding campaign, I feel like it'd be cute for the bonus art to have Tamarack and Qiu doing some odd job to earn extra cash. You can vote on what age you'd like to see Qiu and Tamarack HERE. This poll will also

Coming one day later than normal, we've got this month's guest art poll ✨. October is a big event at GB Patch Games, it's when the Our Life: Now & Forever Kickstarter is going live. So, we're gonna do something we haven't done yet for the entire time we've had monthly guest art pieces; include two c

Okay, Cove's had a lot of recent attention with the bonus moment excitement and everything, Baxter had his time before that since his DLC came out fairly recently, and very soon it's gonna be all about Our Life: Now & Forever. I feel it's only right to give some love to our old pal Derek for this mo

And here's the second poll! We've once again got four lovely possibilities. Cove sure has variety, haha. The poll will close on July 8th.

Hey there, I've prepared a couple polls for people to vote in as usual for the upcoming guest art. Because August should be the month the new Patreon Bonus Moment goes live (either as a beta or fully completed build), let's have that be the theme! That means we're doing Step 4 Cove. In this poll you

Okay, it's time for another bonus piece poll. Since we're gonna be in the thick of summer and in the heat of Our Life: Now & Forever's development when this shows up, we should have a summer themed OL2 guest art! Tamarack was fairly recently featured, so Qiu can have a turn now. I'm also thinking it

Hello again. The first poll has already gone up, it's to decide which Step version of Cove will appear in the June bonus piece. Now on this poll we'll determine the general location/premise. It's just a bunch of neat summery things that suit our resident ocean man. The poll will close on May 8th. Th

Alright, today starts the vote for what the bonus piece of art will be for June! Honestly, that's the start of summer in the northern hemisphere and I don't think we've had a Cove guest piece in over a year now. This is his time, so Cove is the only option. We'll get vote on Step version gets featur

And here's the premise poll as well! The topics are a little more specific than last month's, but still flexible enough that we can make fitting scenes based on which character wins. For example, "Afternoon Meal" could be a picnic on poppy hill with Cove, cooking in the kitchen with Cliff, or gettin
