Patreon Post Schedule Poll

I realise I'm way late on the initial punch but I'd be fine with only five posts a week (I honestly thought that was what you were going to be doing anyways when you announced you were taking days off) though, like many others, seeing script snippets would be nice. If I'm being honest and if you really feel worried about posting repetitive updates, I would probably hold off on posting the concept art specifically for the backgrounds. They're interesting but I feel they'd work better in an artbook or when the game is in more of a completed state

Five times a week (or even less) should be fine! Screenshot updates feels like a huge present that should matter to ALL the fans, so I feel like giving it in a bigger set should be a major update post especially when you post it on social media?

Voted no preference - I would honestly be fine with whatever puts the least amount of stress on the the team~ Even if that was once a week, or twice a month, or sporadically when something interesting happens!

I love the script previews and DEFINITELY want more of those, but also I don't want you to be a)trying to figure out how to do enough posts off of just the one game and b) not to have any true days off.

5 days a week is more than enough! <3 But as many others, I would also enjoy if the script snippets became a thing. I thought they were very cool. But honestly, do what you feel is best. You've been talking a lot about taking more time off, so please do :) The most important is your health.

tbh even 5 times a week is a lot for me. I'd be happy with once a week. Although also tbh i'm not really interested in script updates (they feel like spoilers), so maybe I'm not the best person to ask.

I voted 'No preference' because I'm fine with whatever you choose. I love the new screenshot and script previews but I think it's also important that you don't overwork yourself and feel like you HAVE TO post updates so regularly here, so just choose whatever solution feels best/comfortable to you. Even less than 5 days per week is fine!!! I'm looking forward to all the posts, no matter how frequent! :D

I love all updates, even non-asset but I think missing two days is well worth you getting a break. I guess if you enjoy sharing daily, by all means but please don't feel the need to create things to share if 5 days a week is sufficient. I'd still feel quite spoiled at 5x/week.

I think the most fearable is burning out, which steals all of your motivation, so I suppose the best way that you don't have to force up! I've been not having the time to check the post of discord and could only read your post on mail, and when I saw, the post having pictures was the most best for reading while I was tired. So I like reading the post with screenshots! (OH, but you don't have to post them everyday!!)

Oh I adore your writing! Could you do more writing but the five days a week so you can have resting periods? Honestly at this point I’d still adore once a week with more writing lmao <3

I'd love to see more script snippets and stuff of that nature- I've always loved seeing the background end of development - but on your days off you shouldn't have to worry about preparing an update post! Take care of yourself!

I'll be honest, when updates are as frequent as they have been I tend to not read them. They just sit in my notification bar until I either click them out of boredom or they disappear when I restart my phone. Less frequent, meatier updates are preferred!

I'd be happy if you took time to rest properly, but if you felt like sharing additional previews of the script or screenshots, I'd enjoy those, too. I think you should just do what you want to more in the moment on those days regardless of the poll. As long as it's fun for you and you're not cutting into your rest time too much, that is!

I agree with decreasing the updates to 5 a week. I like the script previews just as much as the sprites. Most of all, I like when you get time to rest and not burn out.

I really like the script snippets/screenshots, but I also think limiting it down to five days a week would be good! I'd still love to see all the writing/dialogue stuff but it being just a little less frequent is a great idea.

Personally seeing parts of the script doesn´t get me as hyped as assets, arts and functionalities. I think it would be better if you didn´t have to worry about Patreon as much. As such my vote is to post five times a week instead (which is still more than 80% of someone with a patreon usually do, so I am very happy with that)

Still show the script snippets, but move down to five days a week. Give yourself some more time to rest. 🫶

I love the idea of you having those two days fully off. You and your team work so hard, and absolutely deserve it. I'd still like to see the script snippets from time to time (your writing is amazing!!) BUT try to rest up!!!

The per week thing would probably be easier on both ends, but I really have no preference as long as you're taking care of yourselves in the process. Don't overwork yourselves~~

i’m loving the idea of script previews since it gets me even more hyped, but i’d much rather you have entire days off! even if it’s just a screenshot, you shouldn’t have to worry about a daily update. we’re more than fed enough ^^

If it doesn’t increase workload by much I prefer daily as I like the script posts, but otherwise I’m fine with it not being every day. <3

We all love the work and effort that everyone has put into the games! I personally would only need 1 big weekly update honestly. I like to be surprised by the game as well as seeing some of the progress. I feel like it would be easier for you if you did a big once a week game update so it would be less to do cuz you could use that week to setup the update and have some well deserved personal time! Thank you again for my making my favorite PC game ever!!! Your game about Cove was so brilliant. I brag about it to everyone. It's the first time I've ever had a game I would put so much time and effort in, and I'm undiagnosed ADHD so it's hard to keep my attention! Thank you so much for giving me and everyone else so much joy! I can't wait for OL2!!!!!

I have plenty of projects that update weekly, or even monthly! As long as it's consistent we'll be fine 😀

Quality over quantity imo. The previews are great but I don’t think you need to get super creative with making content for them. That said, I do like previews of the script itself, it’s pretty cool to directly see more parts of your workflow :)

i’m personally fine with either or and would love to see more script posts! but if it’s more convenient to post less times a week i’m all for it!

imo you should lessen the load on yourself and don't worry about posting every day! we've been blessed getting so many previews with so much going on but I think we'll survive without a post every day aha
