Month Beginning Post: September 2026 Plans

[Here’s our ocean boy in a new season: Autumn! Comfortably cozy Cove is brought to you by the outstanding allieozs on Bluesky 🍂]

Here comes September! 🌞 We say a tearful goodbye to summer and VERY excited hello to fall this month. It’s the perfect time to transition into Our Life: Now & Forever mode, because the Early Access release is roughly two months away.

We know the community is eagerly anticipating this release, and our team is working hard behind the scenes to make it happen. Here’s what we have planned so far! ✅

General Content Plans

The Humble Bundle DLC pack event will also close on 9/2, so if you’ve been waiting for a sale to play the rest of OLBA, now’s your chance! Well, there’s actually a second chance, haha:

We’ll be featured in the Fall In Love Steam Festival again! We’re honored each time it comes around. Both OLBA and the OLNF demo will be highlighted, with the OLBA DLCs on sale once again.

This month, we’ll have several days to celebrate: Hispanic Heritage Month, the last day of summer, the first day of fall, and Derek’s birthday. It’s party time over here. 🎉

In game development, Shawna hopes to have the team code the bulk of Step 2, as well as locking down everything that’s going to end up in the Early Access release.

Finally, GB will have her arm out of a sling part way through September. She’ll be trying to get back to her normal work speed on programming and script edits.
