As a past Warhammer 40K player, this was an awesome Imperial Titan vs. Tyranid Biotitan movie.

Unfortunately I think the best live action anime movie is the speed racer movie. A masterpiece and gorgeous.

What was so bad with Pacific Rim 2?

Because I'm neurodivergent, I just can't let it rest. The Pacific Rim wall was starting to be built because the Kaiju kept getting bigger and started kicking the jeager's asses, leaving to huge casualty rates. It's also portrayed as a bad decision, as Stacker Pentecost (guitar riff)'s scenes with the world defense council or whatever the hell it's called establishes. Point being, if you grant the conceit of giant robots being able to punch hurricanes incarnate in the face, the plot actually does make internal sense.

What about doing an episode on the Escaflowne movie from 2000? The animation, music, and voice dubbing were great, but the plot was... Lackluster lol

The UK version of Queer as Folk made me discover a thing or two about myself, so I can't really hate on Charlie Hunnam

Joe has my vote for his build back better plan/mecha new deal platform. "Charlie Day is a monsterfucker and he's plugged into the Bad Dragon." I hate that I understood this.

So the whole Mako storyline with her getting her adoptive dad Marshall Stringer Bell/Stacker Pentecost to let her copilot the mecha singlehandedly resolved daddy issues that years of therapy didn't. I also liked that they didn't immediately go to the romantic route with her and Charlie Hunnam. There was a little head bump/hug in the end, but that's it.

Would a couple of Big O deep dive episodes be on the table?

You should do Robot Jox, Rocky 4 but with giant robots

If you think this is the best live action anime film you've ever seen then you missed Lana & Lily Wachowski's 2008 magnum opus Speed Racer.

Put Wahlberg in that movie and the Jaeger is going to have external loudspeakers that just scream racial slurs at the kaiju.

The show would be too long of an endeavor especially after G-Gundam but those films would be great to see you guys do with how much you bring up EVA
