So, Megas XLR is almost a reverse technical, or like an inverse one, as instead of military equipment rigged to a car, its a car rigged to military equipment
I had to google Hakken dancing—fun rabbit hole to go down
The NHS in Neo-England is just DocWagon from Shadowrun but more expensive and worse service
Regarding "is a gundam a technical," you're right that a gundam is purpose built for war. In the broader "canon" (such as it is) Gundams are a specific subset of mobile suits used often as prototypes for new weapons systems that can later be mass produced or explicitly as propaganda tools. _Originally_, though, at least in the first setting, Universal Centuries, mobile suits did start as industrial tools for space mining that were later adapted for warfare using new materials and techniques developed in space before returning planetside. In addition, as someone commented above, the Ball unit is also, still, a technical in that it's a glorified maintenance unit used for ship repairs, hauling material, and any number of other purposes with a cannon strapped to.
I want to see the Welsh gundam...gundam Jones!!! Some dude name Daffyd just rolls up on a sheep with a miners helmet on...
All Gundams are mobile suits, but not all mobile suits are Gundams. What a Gundam is differs from series to series but meta answer is Gundam are the main characters suits, mobile suits exist to be bodied by good Gundams, or be allied grunts of Gundams that get bodied by enemy elite baddie mobile suits. Also visual shorthand is two eyes gundam, 1 eye enemy mobile suits, visor allied mobile suits. G Gundam is easy basically everythings a Gundam, and if you don't have the Gundam look, you are cannonfodder mobile suits.
ayo check it out this mf went to gundam college
RB-79 Ball is Gundam's answer to the technical. Litterally the worker pod from 2001 a Space Oddessey with a 350mm cannon strapped on top.
We just need Joe and Tom’s gym corner once a month. A tight 20 of chopping it up about lifting would hit
Every episode of LLBR leaves me wondering what the fuck just happened. Great stuff!
Completely off-topic, but have you considered doing an episode or two where you talk about what it was like to live in Armenia? Every time you talk about it, it's fascinating and genuinely interesting. I haven't heard much about it with the language barrier and all.
A minor correction Re: Argo still being in the Gundam Fight: So long as your Gundam's head unit isn't destroyed, a nation's fighter can repair their Gundam and keep competing. This is why none of the four main character Gundams (Neo America, Neo France, Neo China, and Neo Russia) are definitively destroyed in their intro episodes, but other one-off characters are (although there's two exceptions to this, and they involve some plot shenanigans that you'll get to later in the show).
Japanese in general don't understand the concept of the "united kingdom". イギリス (which actually came from Portuguese) is pretty much synonyms with "England". When I worked for JET Programme some of my Irish, Scottish and especially Welsh colleagues had to explain repeatedly that they were "not English" and that not all white people in the UK were English.
All I keep hearing is skibidi Crockett and assume he's running around sticking out of a toilet
Tom got “cold cocked”
Gundams are a subset of mobile suits
