EARLY EPISODE: Combat of the 30
Joe is once again joined by Nate to talk about how in the middle of a stagnated war, two teams of knights got together to kill each other out of boredom as a crowd of spectators watched on.

The cum dungeon, adjacent the orgasmic oubliette.
The internet history version of The Giver would be The Gifer
The funniest part about the "we're like the kid from the giver" comment, to me specifically, in the context of remembering old internet stuff, is that on the main goatse page there was a link to "The Giver", which was a photoshopped picture of a dude with a huge cock laying down on a boat, implying that the goatman himself was "the receiver" I can never forget this because "man with big dick" was the FUNNIEST thing I had ever seen at 13 years old, and it 9/11s the side of my psyche every time I hear the word "giver"
9/11s that part of my psyche is my new favorite term.
The sport they’re talking about is buhurt and it’s all over the world now
As a father and someone who grew up watching Thomas The Tank Engine. I would easily hand you guys more money senselessly for a Thomas Hour episode. The sound drops had me dying and the last episode about a Hitler Train… just too damn funny.
Regarding Nate's death row meal: I always thought that London would be the best place to try and grab some Korean food in Europe, since the UK already has a decently sized Korean diaspora community. Maybe Düsseldorf might be a good choice as well? I am yet to find a good Jjajangmyeon in Berlin, though I was able to find grill places (and Bibimbap is apparently in vogue, though somewhat adapted to taste)
Can't believe these guys decided to have a real life game of Battle Brothers
Great episode, though you said that Brittany was a vassal of the French King. That's wrong, Britainy was an independent duchy until the mid to late 1400s, playing the English(England and Wales. You called them British but Scotland was still independent and allied to France) and French against each other.
Other than place or tribal names, pretty much every culture’s last names are what you did for a living.
"this is Redwall now." *chef's kiss*
Challenging your enemy to fight to the death via rhyming couplets is basically just 14th century drill music
Dying of rickets to own the heathens.
Episode suggestion: The People’s Crusade, the definition of a cluster fuck
We did that years ago
PAYG meters cut off power/gas once the credit on it runs out unless it runs out past a certain time in the evening. For mine it's between the hours of 8pm and 8am. They have the audacity to call the credit that tides you over til the morning "friendly credit", the wankers. You usually also have access to emergency credit (varies, usually either £5 or £10) that you can access by putting the meter key into the meter and pressing a button. This is subtracted from whatever credit you put on your meter the next time.
“We’re like the kid from The Giver” 😭
Didn't expect Leisure Town/Jerkcity to come up. Leisure Town's still up, Jerkcity's at www.bonequest.com Behold! The new scripture
There isn't a town called Shittington, but there is a Shitterton near Bournmout, Dorset.
I love Shitterton because their village name sign is like a 3 ton carved rock they got because people kept nicking the default signage like.
I too had an All your Base t shirt in high school
Meeting up in equal sized groups in a field both sides wearing color coded outfits? This is litterally just football hooliganism lmao
I knew about the coin-operated power meter courtesy of Mr. Bean!
I thought it was a Bean joke, not a poverty joke.
The trees that smell like cum are called Bradford Pears, and they were all over my old college campus
The cum trees are ginko trees
Mitchell and Webb is possibly the best show of all time. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O4p0uw42cdo

If Nate's interested, I actually have a family recipe for those noodles. It's the Chinese version and not Korean unfortunately, but it's a really simple recipe you can make or improvise modifications to if there's even one Chinese supermarket in his city.
Trying to imagine getting hit by a 25lb warhammer swung by a guy strong enough to swing that shit all day.

Fact death by snu snu started in France.
Hadn't thought about M-1 Global Knight Fights in a while. Russia's love of taking combat sports and making them goofier is always appreciated.
i live near a village called Cuckfield
There’s a creek near where I live called ‘Cuckold’s Creek’, with a boat landing called “Cuckold Landing”.
Is the dick sucking union the union rep for the cum dungeon?
Linguistic fun fact, while Nate is correct about the modern pronunciation of Blois, Joe says it much closer to how it would be said at the time. If you ever watch a play by Molière in French and they use the standard pronunciation of his time it sounds literally nothing like French today.
Yes thou is the informal, where thee and ye are both formal. Though formal in this case does not mean respectful so much as "of equal rank" (eg "Have at thee, coward!").
The US has pay as you go power meters too at least in the south.
Extremely grim stuff. Is it a deregulated market thing? Does it have to do with your credit score?
I stayed in a house in Wales a few months ago that still uses the coin-operated power meter, so they're still around
Haha, being from rural Wales I can believe that. Wouldn't be switched over unless there was a reason for someone at the utility company to see it. Some friends of mine still have old bakelite meters. Presumably one day the leccy company's going to come round for something and have to send for The Man to come and replace it. One of the advantages of coin meters was that it was much easier to scam free electricity out of them. With modern meters a person's options are much more limited to circumventing the meters, which is much more dangerous but totally a thing people do.
