Of course that the insane religious extremist writer wrote a powerful woman as a doped up sex addict, because that's the only way the can understand that sort of person.
Joe getting locked in on historical Cleopatra for five minutes was one hell of a vibe shift
Francis: it's pom-pay, not POMpee
YouTube, ‘HBO’s Rome news updates’ and I mentioned donk cast and dropped a boofing bellows reference and it auto-corrected to booking lol
Have you ever thought of doing Miracle at Santa Ana as a bonus movie episode. I feel like it would be perfect for y’all
corpse sconse made from and for only the most bespoke heads.
I was watching Excalibur for the 500th time yesterday and noticed that Ciaran Hinds, who played Julius Caesar in Rome, was one of the knights of the round table. I can't believe I never noticed before. That movie had a lot of great young actors that went on to have big careers.
Gonna ruin the attempts at Latin pronunciation even further by noting that classical Latin, the kind spoken during this era, pronounced Vs like Ws. So it'd be Worenus, Lukius Worenus (no soft Cs either).
When the comment about Joe being "penetrated" was made I shot thermogenic reign out of my nose. Surprisingly not highly recommended.
“This is the first time I’ve ever seen a corpse raft.” Me: The Raft of the Medusa was made 200 years ago! Why was so much of my education on art history?!
Jesus Christ Allin was his birth name, which make the jokes about a Rome tour even funnier.
Caesar and Cleopatra had a kid named Caesarian, however he was murdered under Octavian's orders. My favorite historical bit of knowledge however is her twin children with Marc Antony were given to Marc Antony's wife in Rome to raise which has got to make for one hell of an awkward living arrangement. Love the show you guys cheers
She also had a third child with Marc Antony. The boys disappeared her daughter got married and named a child after one of her brothers https://www.livescience.com/19838-antony-cleopatra-babies-sculpture.html&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjwmPHHn6T3AhWVl3IEHe-qBBYQFnoECAkQAg&usg=AOvVaw0ej9f6upexjOIQEK410KVH
