this reminds me of playing civilization 3 as a kid and just parking a unit of neolithic warriordudes on a mountain for a couple thousand years. just to see what would happen. apparently they were still ready for war after that.

There's a burger joint in Guam called Jeff's Pirate Cove and they have a display dedicated to Yokoi there. You can visit the cave too. It's pretty cool stuff.
That cave is actually a reconstruction, the original was destroyed in a flood.
Oh man that was a weird bit of Just Cause 2 where it was shirtless, geriatric Japanese soldiers guarding this huge lightning tower that shot planes down and covered the island in fog
