During the Korean War, the People's Volunteer Army of China and the UN fought a meaningless battle over a hill shaped like a pork chop in order to leverage ongoing negotiations. Thousands died, and everyone claimed they won.

I gotta say- not a big fan of the attempt to implicitly both sides the Korean War. Thankfully, it’s not all that overt, but the way this frames pre-war North as a mirror of the South is something we should absolutely know better than to do after Blowback season 3
Come at me bro! 🤣
What's interesting is that this fighting in Korea has a lot of similarities to the fighting in Italy. The Germans often moved at night to avoid air bombardment. Lots of fighting between depleted units in rough terrain with artillery. Communication issues, ambushes, etc.
Highlands burn is the disease u get from eating mothmans ass. Also seeing comments about ladybug Lindsey.... hed def get the highlands burn. Waiting for that BBO.
Using poems as operational orders were a plot point in The Dirty Dozen
You know the joke was good when it makes Tom hit that joker laugh.
Somebody do the funniest thing and import an Otis Spunkmeyer blueberry muffin to throw at Nate.
The Interview slander will not be tolerated. It’s a top 10 shitty good movie
Chinese Scott Stapp, BBL Mothman, this episode has everything. (I'd totally fuck up a chupacabra btw)
Much like the man himself, the "Joe's shithead dad" jokes never get old
Well now my already sketchy search history includes “caked up Mothman”
Yooooo! More Korean War stuff. What an underratedly absurd and horrific conflict.
From what I hear, that's because the US government still had the media in a vice grip following WW2 so all the civilian-butchering, mass sexual violence, and rank incompetence didn't get reported on the way it did later in Vietnam. Kinda crazy to think that that level of media control was ever achievable, and kind of sobering at the same time to know that it'll never be possible again.
Creed fucking sucks and has always sucked
Isn’t John Wick Babba Yaga? I wouldn’t try to take him in honorable combat.
The Donk review of the Chosin Reservoir movie when?
Leprechauns technically are fairies in Irish folklore. They trick humans and could bring great wealth or great misfortune.
Leprechauns aren't weird human guys, they're Fae.
I already know that this is gonna be a peak horse episode
Damn, I wasn't expecting this episode to have a reasonable defense of the PVA and its tactics. I'm pleasantly surprised.
When PVA wasn't overextending itself trying to fight a mechanized modern war or for some political objectives (2nd Battle of Seoul) it did pretty well. Then again, they had their own version of Pork Chop Hill which was White Horse Hill.
"Why do think those muffins are moist?" The Spunkmeyer bakery looks like that video Jordan Petersen thought was real. Gorman Smith should have joined the Navy and then done medic work for the Marines.
Seems like the PVA took notes from the IJA book of good order and discipline
Just remember that during all this, Hawkeye Pierce is somewhere in the MASH unit doing bits before flipping back to the "war is Hell" part of the show.
"This isnt a war it's a murder! :["
Poor Nate is going to be pelted with muffins
On carrots and WW2 propaganda, that was the UK who were pretending eating carrots was why their pilots flew well at night. The real reason which they were trying to hide was radar.
Recently I saw a video of the mothman statue where he was given a tramp stamp over his fat ass lol I think i could take the fresno nightcrawler
"I think i could take the fresno nightcrawler" In a fight, right?
It is 4.20 AM here on the continent of Australia and here is a new episode. Looks like no sleep for another 1hr and 14 minutes.
My sister in law is ride or die for Pauline & Gina and lives amidst an Anarcho-Capitalist association of freeholders (NOT a commune) and she would back you up about that not being a bad sign verging on self-harm. If you're white. And unvaccinated
Happy death of Lindsey Graham day.
Gross leftists as usual
MacArthur deserves his own episode. Perhaps a behind the bastards collab?
Credit to the Kaiserreich people, they long ago thought to themselves 'well gee willikers, who could possibly be so authoritarian and incompetent that half the country would willingly go pinko and the other would go separatist because he was just that unpopular' and immediately landed on MacArthur as the catalyst for their alternate history 1937 American Civil War
Finally more Korean war content! Its a real shame it gets so little coverage.
If you could sit in on a historical conversation what would it be? Mine would be Cortez talking with Pizarro privately in early 1528 after Cortez’s conquest and before Pizarro’s.
Combat of the 30 and it's not even close.
Babe wake up, new Arvn and the Chipmunks album dropped
Commented this on the drop forgetting Pork Chop Hill was Korea not Vietnam. I’m shaking my head, my head is in my hands, my haters have bested me, I am truly ashamed.
