Joe, Tom, and Nate take to the stage at the Rich Mix in London to talk about the time the Republic of Texas attempted to invade Santa Fe, New Mexico without food, water, or even knowing where Santa Fe was on a map.

Norris wasn't "randomly" in a Bruce Lee movie, he had already been some sort of martial arts champion prior to that casting.
Texas: A mythical land where minting coins - shit that'd been done since the time of Ea-Nasir getting ripped off on copper - is a lost science.
My 21st Century Schizoid brain trying to conceptualize the conspiratorial energy of two presidential frontrunners icing their cakes mere days apart and leaving John Schitt acendant in the race.
I misread the title as the Santa Fe explosion and I kept waiting for when the Texans inevitably blew themselves up. But they ended up too dumb to do even do that.
I need an imperiun of Texas fanart like right now.
There is a toad in the American Southwest that contains hallucinagens (leave em alone, they've got enough problems), but not if you eat them. The venom has to be smoked or injected for it to work.
Any time LLBD has an episode about Texas, I recall this scene from Spongebob Squarepants: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg53WYCPCjI .
Funniest death imo was the Prime Minister of Francoist Spain getting blown to space by four ETA guys from Euskadi who spent weeks digging a hole under the street from an apartment they rented.
The breaks of silence felt off
Is anyone else not getting rss feed updates for this show?
A "Led by Donkeys" billboard opposite 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC.
I must say, it's weird, as someone from the continent of Australia, to hear "redback" used as a slur for people. I mean, we hate redbacks - the vicious little bastard spiders with red stripes on their backs. Their venom is (rarely) deadly... but it's fast acting and makes you really, really sick. And, being vicious little bastards, the usual first aid, a pressure bandage, actually makes things worse. Many people have been made sicker by well meaning assistants forgetting one of the few exceptions to the pressure bandage thing for venomous bites.
Oh God, goku has inflated so much that he's broken TWOAPW containment
Great show guys.
One thing to understand about NM is that we HATE Texas, it started with Sam Houston and continues with water bullshit and other issues.
Oof 4:30 was that the first time one of your jokes was met with complete silence?
I too quit what I'm doing from time to time mid sentence.
Joe! How could you forget the good oll ottomans who didnt formally abolish slavery till 1908
oh you did a Garden of Forking paths!
How hard do I have to pray to hong christ to get a Canadian show date?
I'm all for a North American tour.
Part of the reason the texas german experiment failed was because of their commitment against slavery which got them A Bad Time
Sam Huston was the only decent person in the entire Republic, and Texans, just being themselves, hated him for it.
I saw one of the sources, and I am so excited for the return of the most name of all time: Mirabeau Bonaparte Lamar.
"Down here at your local Mirabeau Bonaparte Lamar Ford Dealer, We'll get you in a brand new F150 likkity split~ Yeeeehaw!"
You guys should try to get a Lions Led by Donkeys ad in the Pentagon Metro station
That would be amazing, but also gotta cost a fortune to advertise there.
If anyone asks you what Imperial Guard tank is the coolest and you don't know any, just say 'Shadow sword'. You're welcome
Independent state of context?
25:01 - The exact moment Nate realizes if you can mold metal bullets you should, hypothetically, be able to mold metal currency.
It's okay everyone, Wide Texas isn't real, Wide Texas can't hurt us.
Did not expect Joe to talk about ROUND ROCK TEXAS
First
