A Discord Related Update
Discord has stopped allowing mass invites to go out. I assume this is to stop hacks/raids/whatever of Discord servers. This is why the invites we post keep crashing.
However, linking your Patreon account to Discord is very easy. The link below gives you a step-by-step guide on how to link the two and, in turn, get an invite to our Discord.
I'd like to apologize to everyone for how annoying this is. But, as a patreon with over 10.k people, there is really no other good way to get Discord access to everyone who has unlocked it due to changing TOS from the various platforms we use.
Thank you for supporting the show,
Joe

@LLBD-hosts - depending on how the discord experience goes for you, you should look into a hosted matrix server. Based on my knowledge of pricing, for ~$300/mo (total, for a server with 10k folks) you could get a discord-like experience but be in control of your own policies, without the platform idiosyncrasies
The issue right now is that Matrix is pretty clunky at providing the "discord experience", so you'd need someone with a little technical experience managing the backend. Not saying that's the wrong direction, just think the discord alternatives are still a little underbaked.
Are we still getting a robot erotica book now that there’s 10k patrons?
Asking the real questions here.
