VIIEEEERR!!!
Highly recommend the Dungeon Crawler Carl series as an audiobook
Why did no one tell me about turning into a block of cheese? My 35th was last September and I haven't made it to Friesland yet
Also I will not be moving back to my Dutch themed home town ( Orange City Iowa).
WWOW ITS JOSH
The Michigan talk corner of this episode warmed my heart, even if I was yelling ‘It’s the Peanut Shop, Josh!’ to myself on the way to work this morning.
Loving the shoutouts to my University and home region. Go Broncos!
GO BRONCO'S FUCK THE CHIPS
I’m pretty sure that’s why you haven’t done market garden 😂 it’s job security as we wait
Oooh shit E33 episode incoming.
Ok but that chocolate shop in holland Michigan is the only thing I remember from my one and only trip there, so it must be good
Well the episodes aren't up yet Josh, but I am very much looking forward to it
I feel like if this ship had been made then over a short period of time it would end up getting sculpted into a 40k style ship.
In 1976 the CURV-III was used to survey the wreck of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald in the Great Lakes region. CURV-III was the fourth generation of the US Navy Cable-controlled Undersea Recovery Vehicle.
Western Michigan mentioned! 🐎🐎🐎
The Edmund Fitzgerald was found on the bottom of the lake using a US navy P-3 with it's MAD detectors if your looking for your military connection.
I reckon we can convince Trump to make his stupid battleship 1000x bigger and out of pyekrete.
In high school I once came home drunk and we'll past curfew, only to find Thomas Dolby and his wife, actress Kathleen Beller, hanging out with my parents in my parents living room. My parents were high school friends with Beller, whose parents and sister still lived in town (her dad played piano to accompany silent films shown at the local library). I had been all worried about getting in trouble, but for once my parents didn't really care. I did get yelled at for loudly yelling "Science!" as I walked out of the living room on my way to face plant into my bed.
wild
i think it's fine for a michigan team to call themselves the wolverines; it's just a cool animal, you don't need anyone's permission to make a cool animal your mascot
I'm now calling for a Well There's Your Problem episode about the Edmund Fitzgerald with all Michigan guests and also Tom.
Please sir, I want the Second Boer War.
The Grand Rapids area is the only good part of West Michigan. Kalamazoo is also alright as long as you keep your head on a swivel lol
I haven't been back there since probably '08, which last I heard was about when it went to hell. Makes me sad-- I've got a soft spot for that place.
Oh, this thing. If you're on a navy kick Joe I can send some shit your way at some point. There's an endless supply of them.
JD Bernal mentioned, Tom’s Law of Random Irish Guy Shows Up For No Reason remains unbroken
https://www.albertaunderwatercouncil.com/single-post/2016/10/10/diving-jaspers-habbakuk-wreck It’s always cool to hear stuff about this obscure project. We dive in Jasper regularly and were going to dive the wreck last year but it did not happen. If anyone if curious of what is left of it this is a video a friend took the last time he dove it.
I would go watch a concert put on by Jeffrey Epstein and The Power Of Friendship.
Yes! I have been waiting for Joe to cover this since I started listening to the pod. I found out about this idiotic idea from Mythbusters.
Man I’m from Colorado Springs and “Focus On The Family” was something I wasn’t expecting to hear about in LLBD episodes. I’m glad it is shutting down in Michigan. Now if we can get the mega church shut down here that would be great.
our show has a special relationship with FOTF because we’ve covered hundreds of episodes of their terrible christian children’s radio drama. we also recorded our 150th episode live in colorado springs
Yay, Josh!
