Run over by an tank (ok, an AFV) In July 1977 Bundeswehr reserve officer Louis Ferdinand died after being run down by an AFV during maneuvers near Bremen. Ferdinand was the great grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Ironically, the soldier driving the AFV was an American--Sgt. Alvin York, IV.
If I am not mistaken, the Israeli Shermans were not the ones you think of. They had upgraded optics, radios, etc- and a large, long barrel gun fed by a auto-loader. I would rather be in that Sherman than a clapped out T-55, because it is arguably better, and definitely more comfortable.
You know how if you play Hearts of Iron and make any ahistorical decision, the AI loses its mind and starts doing absolute batshit crazy alliances and wars? Gaddafi just did that all the time
omfg, I’ve got sooo many memories of throwing pencils into the ceiling tiles… good times
Those Gazelles had it coming apparently
“Joemar Gadafsabbian”
Dude is unisex, therefore dudes ruck is also unisex.
dudes ruck
All this museum trip talk has me remembering the field trips to the Herbert Hoover Museum that all Iowa children seem to be required to go to every few years through elementary and middle school. The sheer amount of propaganda there had me genuinely surprised in high school when I learned that Herbert Hoover was not well regarded in the tier ranking of American presidents lol
Nate, the word you were looking for is Förster and not Waldmeister. Waldmeister is woodruff.
Pencils don't rot.
ITS TRUE
MAKE SOME FUCKING SWEATSHIRTS
I was lucky/unlucky to be absent one infamous day in the 8th grade when my classmate gave in to an intrusive thought and threw a pair of scissors into the ceiling fan in our classroom.
Hell yeah brother. Never go to the doctor
I do squats with my 5 year old, Turkish getups with 2 year old.
Muammar Gaddafi always reminded me of Michael Jackson, and I’m not sure which side of that comparison is less flattering. 😅
A Youtuber I watched growing up referred to him as "Evil Carlos Santana" and I found that visually it was correct
Lol I can't help but to think of the king of the hill episode where Bobby gets gout. Hank thinks it's because he is going to football practice so he calls it turf toe. Super proud his son has a sports injury. Turns out he's been going to a deli and just over loading on cold cuts and salted deli meats.
“Gout? Why that’s an old man’s disease!” No idea why or how I remember one line from that episode 30 years later.
Tactodiles sound like a high risk sensory toy
Like the noble Leman Russ, the Ugandan Sherman is eternal and unchanged
Joe: general got run over by a tank Tom: *crunchy snort noises* I like to think this is how it sounded.
“Croc troops” was right there y’all.
we’ve got Crocs On The Ground
