The Hudson Bay Company used to own Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue, but at some point in the past decade or so they spun them off. Lord & Taylor of course no longer exists aside from e-commerce, whereas Saks still prints money and last I heard was looking to buy Neiman Marcus.
Hudson News is completely unrelated to the Hudson Bay Company other than both companies indirectly being named after Henry Hudson.
