BONUS: Lions Led By Robots 9: The Gundam is Meat

While I think Attack on Titan has very uneven writing, I am going to call it my preferred meat-mech series over Evangelion. Sorry, I just don't like Evangelion, and I think that battle "suits" that don't look like robots are cooler for some reason.

I appreciate how the LLBD podcast also acts as a Death Note.

Now you've mentioned the gimp suit you're gonna have to wear one. We will hold you to that. And if yours is still in storage don't worry, I'm sure the KJB crew can loan you one

This is the series I look forward to the most in all of my podcasts

I love how Joe described, to a T, my own 1995 shitbox Mercedes wagon. I feel so seen.

I love the FF8 shoutout

“Squall is dead” in my history podcast, phenomenal.

If Tom forces Joe to watch Eva I will up my subscription by several orders of magnitude

I was wondering if I was having a stroke during the intro

As the owner of a 90s Merc shit box I feel personally attacked

Where do I find a high res version of the Lions Led By Robots Thumbnail Art? I want to check out the Gundam designs in greater detail.

How big of a cross are we talking re: car interior? Can we get some photos?

Joe I’m glad to see your recent enjoyment of Boonta Vista is influencing the intros to bonus episodes

The reason for thr DBZ stuff is that G Gundam was Sunrise's hail mary to avoid going under. And DBZ was the biggest thing at the time. So, things were lifted in an appeal to be more appealing.

The Cell saga is technically a fucked up tournament arc. I have never forgiven the Buu saga for looking like a tournament arc before the Bait and Switch

Masterclass of improv comedy intro. I also misheard “blunted sword” while I was working as “blunt and sword” which made an excellent image, I think the boy could use a hit. Well wishes to you both and condolences to you Tom.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Thunderbolt is actually the peak of anime jazz because they use it diegeticly.

Joe naming the one battle shonen anime without a tournament arc, Bleach, is pretty funny

I’m not going to lie, I got the notification for this and actually made a pog face.
