BONUS: The Sharpe Show 10: Sharpe's Siege
Sharpe returns for the Battle of Bordeaux and it sucks. There鈥檚 a lot of plot about what happens when a soldier skips doing an ambush to get laid, which is something Sharpe is allowed to do but no one else is for some reason.
FYI: we鈥檙e taking a Sharpe hiatus after this because these movies are so bad.

I looked up Sean Bean and was very surprised it was not the guy from Mr. Bean. I have pictured him listening to every previous episode.
Waterworld story: it was in theaters the summer I was born. My parents' house didn't have AC, and my extremely pregnant mother demanded to go see a movie because they had AC there. They saw Waterworld and I was born 36 hours later. So that movie must be really awful cause it made me bail on the safety of the womb.
If your body is a temple, who is the Samson tied to the pillars holding up the roof of that temple?
Does it feel like "The Longest Day" would be a vacation?
Reign of Fire had the absolute dumbest premise and also why did they bother keeping horses alive? They barely had human food but somehow grew a lot of hay the dragons never noticed? But on the other hand fully committed performances from the leads were legit amazing.
Also, when I was in high school I tried Nyquila - which is Nyquil and tequila. Probably my worst stomach ache yet.
Ya'll have done a Fury episode already, right? I can't find it but I thought for sure you and Nick did a Fury episode.
It's here on Patreon.
If I may offer a crazy follow-up suggestion... Black Adder Goes Forth. The show is set in WWI, is truly funny, historically based, and revolves around lions being led (to their pointless deaths) by donkeys. The final episode is surprisingly touching and remarkably dark鈥攂rilliant stuff for a brilliant podcast.
Very hard agree.
You need some box wine to watch these movies. Some Cardbordeaux.

I think the Sharpe thing is played out. I look forward to whatever you guys cover next :)
Joes knee jerk reaction to fixing this series is to just make it a low tech world in 40k.
i dont see the problem
Is 'Sharpe' the UK's answer to "The Land Before Time" series?
The Dutch waiter probably refused the tip for a very specific reason. In many parts of Europe it is considered an insult to offer a tip, where as in America they would depend a lot on tips. I don't know if that includes the Netherlands, but to my knowledge that is pretty common in most of the world.
Marrying your co-star a year after filming a bad movie you are both in to only have it turn out as well as it does in the movie series? Now that's Sean Beaning.
So we all agree to show up at the next live show in Napoleonic regalia, right?
MRE Dutch Ovening yourself in your tactical Goon Cave. If this becomes a t-shirt, I鈥檒l be the first in line to buy it.
Hell yeah, I finished an episode of Medieval Death Trip right as this one dropped. Smooth transition. Also I was in D.C. and saw Cafe Yerevan. Wasn鈥檛 able to go to it because reasons, but maybe next time.
