Upcoming Scene Preview
Last month, we asked you guys what update pace you would prefer, and a large majority said they'd prefer less frequent but more substantial updates. So for today's post, we thought we'd share some of what that looks like in practical terms.
Sabia's position in the orc camp will have changed substantially after the trial, but you can still choose to work in Jadk's bar. One of the CGs in the next version will involve a series events that can occur during that job. If Sabia doesn't smack down randy orcs... they'll keep taking liberties.
With a shorter update, we would have chosen a single groping image and used it to cover this content. Now that we're taking more time, we're able to increase the number of CGs and variants involved with this set of events. Increasing the amount of unique content involved in a single sequence takes more time, but we think it increases the quality of the game and the feeling of a more interactive scene, so we're glad you're supportive of that!
The CGs above also have a different type of presentation where (in earlier stages) it does not cover the whole screen and the character bases also come into play. Once we release the next update we would like to get your feedback on that since we have bigger plans for this technique later on.
Though we can't give an exact release date, we want to be clear that we're not looking at a major delay - KoD 0.2.0 will be out this month. We took some more time with this release because we're trying some new things, but we still like the model of releasing roughly monthly and don't intend to go far from that except when necessary.
The next update will include the major catgirl event we mentioned earlier, the entire bar sequence, and an unrelated sidequest with a different CG. Please look forward to it!

Not looking for details, just asking: will there be a way to get a bad end prematurely in this update, such as in Noxian Nights? I think all of us are eagerly awaiting to see just what unfortunate circumstances Sabia will get into lol
Actually that would also be something I'm looking forward to, maybe with the next update after this one. That being said, are you aware there IS a premature bad end already? When you fail the initiation as far as I know. And another version when you offend the Orcs too much at the trial.
I don't mean to rush, but when will the next update be released? I've been having some emergency spending situations, so I'm probably going to disappear for a while. But on another note, have you guys considered having something like a recap patreon reward? For those who want the additional CGs (plus the version of the game that has them) but missed them. I'd love to see that especially because I'm probably not going to return anytime soon
We are almost at the end of the development of the next update, just some final quest details and the last CG, which is rather big, but our next post should be with the release date. As for your second question, while we want to have the special CG variants as reward for long term backers, you have already donated to us so much that once you are better in your situation, just message us.
can't recall you asking me to use my cumshot sounds you took from loverslab. was a little baffled to hear them in-game. at least give me credit if you use my stuff. and if you actually like my sounds so much, perhaps we can strike a deal ^_^ there is more and better where that's coming from
Hey, sorry for not crediting you, we got the sounds from a friend and they were just a temporary thing we were testing. We are actually looking to expand on sounds in general, so if you are a sfx designer please send us an email with your information and we can talk further if you are interested ^-^

So a curious question. When can we expect to see the Breeding/Pregnancy mechanic make it's appearance?
While we have things planned out, we dont have an exact update distribution for it since as we work other events might come before it.
Have you or anyone else suggested a bar idea as follows: Sabia is taking an order for 2-4 orcs at a table. At the end they say her services were "decent" but they'll still give her a good "tip". They toss her some coins that just happen to fall under the table. Sabia sighs and gives them an angry look before crawling under the table to get the money. That's when she comes face to face with an erect orc dick. She tries to crawl out but a hand is already on the back of her head and she's impaled on orc dick. From the front and eventually from the back. One of the orcs says "now that's some good service" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) On occasion during this scene Jadk will come by and ask if they've seen his barmaid. The orcs reply "we gave her our tips but haven't seen her since" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) When this scene is done enough times Sabia instead will flirt with the orcs before willingly going under the table. Maybe Jadk will catch on. So next time he asks if theyve seen her and they say we just gave her our tip jadk will make a comment like "just send her to the bar when she's done getting those "tips"". Apologies if this is all scrunched together. Wrote this with the mobile app.

Finnaly some updates. I'm hyped af.
So 3 CG-events. I am curious, are those the only events or is there more non-CG content that we can look forward to with the update? How much are we talking in terms of writing content, story/character development, minor cg scenes (scenes with slight alterations of the character models (like the initial scenes with Shack Guy in Noxian Nights to use an example)? Also, will there be costume additions in this (or the next) update? As always, thanks for any information given. (You know what would be cool? Having a Noxian Nights cameo somewhere down the line. Just for a side quests, maybe one that happens outside the camp).
Just to add something to that. I think "once a month with bigger amounts of content each update" is perfect. You'll have like 3 - 5 CG events per content (depending how big each event will be and how many CGs it will have), some additional story development and maybe 1 or 2 side quests. Sometimes a new costume/armor. That would be quite cool. Another thing I wanted to mention, I really like repeatable events. It would be nice to be able to repeat SOME of the events (only where it makes sense obviously) if you want to, in order to immerse yourself more into the idea that Sabia is actually having a routine of activities within the camp that happen regularly in between / parallel to the "new" story developments (obviously based on the path you have chosen, which Orc(s) you sided with, etc.) Doing something like this and making it feel fresh to a degree would be as easy as changing 10 dialogue lines and slightly modifying CG pictures. Might be a small thing but I feel it would have a huge effect and definitely fill out the content more and make it feel longer/more without TOO much time having to be spend on this. It might also be nice to have some "minor choices" that do not have any big effects (or any at all) on the overall story but only on the scene/ Cg event you are about to enter. Decide differently/ choose a different answer could mean that the scene plays out a bit different without having an impact on the big overall story. If that gets too confusing when it comes down to which choices have impact and which not you could highlight the "minor choices" in a different color or font than the big ones that actually have an impact. Also if you ever need help in the development process let me know. I'm not a good artist, but I believe I have some skills when it comes to writing and (conceptual) game design. Haven't worked with Renpy before though, just FYI. Keep up the good work. I hope my feedback helps you. I'll be pledging again once the new update is out (either July or August if I can afford it).

I am so for this. Less frequent but with more content like this? Totally worth the wait. I was hoping we'd get a bar scene this update and now not only do we get it, but it's even better than originally planned. I can't wait. Those poor, hardworking orcs need a reward. And I'm looking forward to making sure Sabia provides that reward. Kikiki. Mm, that ass. Once again, all the praise to Nomo.

I love everything you're doing. I just discovered a few weeks ago Noxian Nights and damn it was a really good game, and probably the best erotic/porn game ever made. I really hope you've got the same ambitions for this one. Good luck, good work, and do it the way you want. If you deliver quality, we can wait.

This update is looking to be most marvelous indeed. Also I am really liking Jadk, he seems really interesting and likable hopefully he gets more fleshed out as the game progresses.

Nice, definitely glad to see more quality CGs coming out, the last update was good but it was noticeable that the same position was used as the base for many of the pleasure tents CGs. Also looking forward to seeing more stuff happening in the bar, Jad'k is growing on me as one of my fav characters
