Update Post
Hey guys, Monsinne with another one of those stream-of-consciousness updates:
First off we really appreciate all the kind words and messages and support we/I've received. It's truly appreciated.
This is mostly just a rehash of what I've said on discord for those that aren't on the discord but, here we go -
So the current plan is to finish the filler quest. I've got the following scenes to complete for it, and will likely add some additional Vehlis ones too.

The tracker (me updating when I do a thing) is on discord.
After this, I'll finish the last patron vote winner we had in story form. I've already discussed this with the winner and the general agreement between us was that it's better to conclude that in some way than not at all. It may be adjusted slightly from the original prompt to better accommodate the different medium.
After that, there's some non-definitive ideas for a spinoff still set in KoD. The majority of feedback received was a strong preference for remaining in this world and not doing something completely different, and I share that preference as well. I've asked a couple of artist friends and they've expressed interest. There's a possibility of doing a written only thing as well, though the preference from everyone did very solidly lie with inclusion of an artist.
Either way, nothing after the filler + poll completion is definitive. I just want to lay out what we're thinking, what's possible, etc. I (Monsinne) currently cannot actually log on to the patreon. I have one of those fancy variable IPs and Nomo has the email for login verifications, not me. Nds is currently the posting-relay-guy.
I recommend hopping on the discord server if possible, even if just to mute it and keep the KoD channel pings open - it's where I'm putting updates and thoughts before getting Nds to relay here on patreon. Thanks everyone.

As someone who is a massive supporter of this game and used to sub at the higher levels... but dumped not because I was disappointed with the game itself but I was starting to see the writing on the wall Nomo doesn't seem engaged anymore and I'm not going to put my money towards a slush fund that someone is just going to much off of and not produce anything to the point that we have just been sitting here in limbo for how long now, 15 months.. Now I'm a simple guy and I don't know Nomo.. but my budy I grew up with from Jr. High all the way through college and still best buds today, is different than some online bud I made playing games with them for awhile... and the crazy thing is, I don't believe money is y'alls problem.. when the game was chugging along it was making bank.. right now it's pretty obvious that most people are just holding out because they have lost confidence in Nomo.. So I'm pretty sure right now everybody wants a definitive answer, Is he in or is he out.. if he's out.. then I'm in favor of a new artist, you never know you could find a diamond in the ruff, someone who can draw these characters great and is willing to work there butt off to get the game rolling again... then a new patreon... sorry but if Nomo's out, then he's out. Separate yourselves from him completely... say this is the new team, show actual progress again and it won't take long for people to come back, because like I said, I don't know of anybody who left because they don't like the game, but because we're just sitting here in limbo with no idea what's going on and that's y'alls biggest problem.
If you guys need help with art assets, I may be able to help in a limited capacity as I'm still working on my game. But can help with character sprites and some scene sprites.
Also good to hear you guys are sticking to this project and game world. It's fun!
Have you guys been able to get a hold of Nomo? I reached out to him after your last status post. But no luck on my end.
