Arturia KeyStep 37 MK2: All the new features it unlocks
Hi!
If you've been around the channel for a while, you've seen the KeyStep 37 in many of my videos - it's by far my most-used controller because it's compact, has 3 full octaves so it doesn't feel cramped, doesn't get in the way, has a few knobs to control a parameter here and there, and is fun and fast to sequence, arpeggiate, and even hook up to modular gear.
At first glance, the new MK2 is pretty similar to the recently announced KeyStep 32 MK2, just with the added 4 encoders like the original KeyStep 37 - and indeed it shares many of its new features. But, those 4 encoders (along with the screen) unlock quite a bit of functionality that enhances many of its modes.
All the details in the video!
All my best,
Ziv (posting yet another video with a keystep on a youtube channel called "Loopop"...)

I have a MiniLab 3 and I find it too restrictive because of the number of octaves available. I've seen your videos and have been wondering if I should upgrade to this keyboard. Your video is very timely 🙏 and I'm going to watch it to decide if it's finally time to retire the Minilab 3.
Glad I could help. I too find two octaves constricting :/
love my keystep 37 can't wait to get this
