BeatBuddy 2 vs the OG - why its best feature is the community
Hi!
Beatbuddy 2 is out - it's compatible with the original, which means you can load all the old content onto the new one, but it adds quite a few bells and whistles.
Those are great, but its strongest "feature" in my opinion (which applies to the old one too), is the sheer number of songs and patterns based on popular songs published for free by its community, and the way they've "hacked" it to play bass lines, leads and more.
The old one works with those songs too, so you can explore these ideas with a used one, or even with their free online emulator.
All the details in the video!
All my best,
Ziv (if you find drum machines complex, here's a review of one you can use with a single finger, on a youtube channel called "Loopop"...)

The only thing I wish this had was the Digitech SDrum feature of learning up and down strokes so you could play a pattern right from the guitar/bass. Your demo was fantastic as always Ziv.
That would be cool - thanks! :)
Pre-ordered mine.. still haven’t received it. Was told it was in customs 3 or 4 weeks ago
