0.32.2.0 - Joystick response curve & hotfixes
Dear all, shortly after releasing 0.32.1.3, several users reported a regression affecting custom HID communication on a number of devices. In addition to resolving the regression, we've taken the opportunity to introduce a long-requested feature: customizable axis and joystick response curves, allowing users to fine-tune analog stick behavior directly within Handheld Companion.
Highlights
Fixed custom HID communication regression, affecting custom HID device communication on several handhelds, including:
ASUS ROG Ally family
GPD Win 5
MSI Claw
ONEXPLAYER X1
Zotac Gaming Zone
New axis and joystick response curves, for analog sticks and axis. This allows users to adjust how input is translated throughout the stick range, making it easier to create more responsive, more gradual, or more aggressive stick behavior depending on personal preference and game genre.
Reliability improvements behind the scenes, cleaning up event subscription and disposal logic throughout the application. While largely invisible to users, these improvements help reduce the risk of duplicated events, stale handlers and resource leaks during long sessions or device transitions.
