Getting a jump on December's art

UPDATE 3: We have a sticker! Hey folks just popping back in with the sticker art to go along with the prints. I just got the prints in today so will pack them up over the weekend to have them and stickers out for everyone on Monday. I will also be getting started on the shirt club design then too so will be making a post for that in time as well. Thank you all for the support lately, it has been amazing!

UPDATE 2: Art is done! Whoo, what a nice breath of air. Knowing I will be able to take a breath for the rest of the week and enjoy the holiday and some noodling on my game is exciting. And I just got the all clear from the doc to start easing back in to my exercise and such after my surgery on Halloween, things are alright haha. Oh also I thought I mentioned it here but maybe didn't, the Night Shift Krampus sweaters are back in the shop for the holiday season and they are very nice (personally speaking, I love mine) and as a patron don't forget if you decide to get anything from my shop use the discount code in the pinned info post. You may even get a silly little thank you video from me and my dumb face after check out!

UPDATE 1: Hey folks, so I made some really nice progress todays as I sprint to getting this wrapped up before the madness ensues haha. I’ve still got a bit left to do but it shouldn’t be too bad and then I’ll do my little finishing touches and be off to the races for printing!

Hey folks so as we are truly in the holiday season now, as I have the past few year I have gotten an early start on the monthly print art for December. Typically I like to have a few weeks to slow down a bit at the end of the year just to try and plan for the coming months and see what sorts of things I'd like to try and get to in the new year. All of those normal things mixed with a surgery recovery and some other things have made this year's holiday season especially hectic. So that all said I have begun tinkering on the December print art.

I wasn't quite sure going into sketching what I would be doing but as shapes started to come together I figured why not roll with it and see where it goes. Ultimately it lead me to this small party of animal adventurers in line with some of the previous Catacombs & Creatures pieces. Those have been done for January the past couple years as a fun way to kick off a new year of monthly art adventures and while I can't say that won't remain the case in 2026 I also know that I don't want to use that as a reason to halt making something fun for folks to close out the year.

So this is where it is at. I will tinker on it as the week goes on to hopefully get it all done soon.

Also in December will be the final entry into the Quarterly Shirt club for 2025! If you haven't seen any of the other quarter's shirts here they all are in a nice little graphic!

Shirt Club much like the rest of this Patreon is an absolute passion project. It has been so fun making up these silly, fake food joints as we design merch for them. I have some ideas for the final one but will reveal those in the proper shirt club post when I get to it.

If you haven't joined shirt club and the idea of getting a new t shirt every few months for the year (alongside the monthly print and sticker) please check it out.

Other than all of this I hope to keep working on my TTRPG project that I shared a bit about a few days ago. With the main rule/mechanics in place I think the next chunk of work for me will be making some fun tables and resources for GM's to build out bounty contracts for players and sessions. Then I would like to explore the games world a bit and get some flavor blurbs and info in as just a bit of extra sauce in contextualizing the feeling I hope to bring with that game and the sort of vibe I am trying to invoke with it.

Oh and lastly I will be (hopefully) finally kicking off the blog on my website with the annual Teeg's Top 10 Games of the Year List that Nobody Asked For. I have been doing this for a while now, initially started on twitter in a thread for a few years and then other socials and now will be moving to my blog as the first proper post. I will then try and be a bit more regular on the blog in the new year sharing other things I get up to, progress on the tabletop work and other projects. I will attempt to cross post those here as well as I move to the patreon being another place where I can better collect my thoughts and more of an encompassing of the art and creative things I get up to. Much like the shift to making most of the posts here free for all members and keeping the paid tiers more to the actual mail rewards and things. I like the notion that information and the like should be there for all who want it.

I dunno, that is probably a bit too much rambling for the Monday before Thanksgiving but if you've been here a while I am sure you are used to it haha.

If I don't post again here before the holiday I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. And if you're not in the US I hope you have a great week nonetheless.

Be good to yourself. Be good to each other.
