very disturbing to watch, and thats just Calvins shirt.
If you guys wanna see how accurate the series is, in the UK, Sky, who co-created it with HBO, aired a one off episode at the end of the series called The Real Chernobyl. I recommend you react to it. It’s actually really interesting.
I dnt get why people in the comments section weekly always need to bring up the inaccuracies of the show. This series isnt meant to be a full on faithful representation of the events that happened all those yrs ago. Also. 1. The guys aren’t idiots to believe everything and 2. You just looked up that info up afterwards and dnt come off as some history buff lol. Fun little reaction series peeps.
People do this because people already had tons of misconceptions about radiation that have made them be against nuclear power for example, when most of what they believe is factually wrong.
FARES FARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The roof workers were given very specific instructions. Which debris had to be removed from the site. They were ordered not to just throw random stuff over. The goal was the core material.
You should listen to the Chernobyl podcast. On It the writer of Chernobyl explains all the liberty's and inaccuracies they did on the show.
After you finish this series, I think it'd be awesome to see you guys watch Shin Godzilla, because seeing it (again for me) after watching this series makes all of the analogies to the reality of the dangers of radiation feel so, SO much more significant than viewing it without the acute awareness of those things.
yeh... this one was hard to watch :(
