Colour Theory has produced some of the most simple, yet stunning images. Science has been trying for hundreds of years to come up with a "ultimate" theory for colour. Unfortunately, capturing the essence of colours is an extremely challenging task, that has not been properly solved yet. Each way of representing colours comes with strong assumptions, either on how colours are created or perceived. This post shows four different ways to create gradients between two colours, and how they are mapped into the HSV colour space.
