WE WON! THE FUTURE + PATREON UPDATES

Hey everyone!

I’m sure by now everyone has seen the great news with WotC not only backing down from their proposed OGL changes but also placing SRD 5.1 under a Creative Commons License.

This is fantastic, and after a month of being a ball of stress, I can finally get back to making content! I know this month has been challenging. Please know that your support in what has been a content-lacking month means the world.

We won! Now it's time for the content explosion.

What does this mean for Gamingbrew?

It’s time to not only continue developing our 5E system enhancer, Project: Wizards Burnt the Toast, but we can finally begin laying the groundwork for our new offerings in 2023. This includes updates and additions to Patreon Roles, many of which we discussed in the early Jan update, two days before the OGL mess began!

Here is a quick breakdown with more detail below.

Copper Brewer $3

Discord Role. Access to the Dice Master role on the Gamingbrew Discord.
Join Living Erenel. Create a player character in Living Erenel, a living world campaign experience based in Erenel’s Fictional Universe. If Living Erenel is full, you’ll be added to the wait list.
Poll Voting. Help shape future content by voting in polls.

Silver Brewer $5

All benefits from previous tiers
Weekly Content. Every week, I release 5E compatible GM resources and player options including subclasses, races, monsters and more!
Vault Access. All previously released subclasses, races, prestige classes and creatures. Over 600 pages and growing!
World Anvil Access. Access to Silver Brewer content on Erenel’s World Anvil.

Gold Brewer $7

All benefits from previous tiers
Gamingbrew Classes. Full access to all Gamingbrew Classes as a PDF download and on Erenel’s World Anvil.
FoundryVTT Modules. All previously released FoundryVTT modules. FoundryVTT modules aren’t heavily pursued but are released on occasion!

Platinum Brewer $10

All benefits from previous tiers
Erenel Gazette. (3 months worth) The official Erenel monthly magazine is packed with 40 pages of 5E-compatible resources for game masters and players. Includes all released content during the month, plus additional content in a stylized one-click PDF.
Gamingbrew Tomes. Bundled collections of previously released content in a one-click PDF. Includes the Subclasses of 2022 and Classes of 2022 Tomes.

Diamond Brewer $25

All benefits from previous tiers
Gamingbrew 5E Campaign. Play in a 5E game I run exclusively for Patrons. The campaign is a heavily modified 5E system played in Erenel’s Fictional Universe using both FoundryVTT and Discord. If the campaign is full, you’ll be added to a wait list. It’s important to note that there is no way of knowing when a slot will open. If you join this tier for my campaign, please be aware that you could be in for a long wait.
Discord Role. Access to the Dice Legends role on the Gamingbrew Discord.

Lord of the Brews $50

All benefits from previous tiers

Project Wizards Burnt the Toast play testing and development continues into February. All rules for Wizards Burnt the Toast (project name changed upon release) will be available for everyone in Erenel’s World Anvil. Play testing docs are released in the #wbtt-playtesting Discord Channel.

If you want to help playtest WBTT, join our Discord and head to #role-assign to select the TTRPG Tester role. I’ll randomly ping testers to hop into play testing games I host. Over the next few weeks, we’ll test combat refinements, half-race system, alignment updates with divinity, crafting downtime updates and more.

Living Erenel

Once play testing is complete, our Living Erenel community campaign will return. To join Living Erenel, players must be either a Copper Brewer Patron or higher OR run a campaign exclusively in our Discord for community members. If you’re interested in being a Game Master for Living Erenel access, please message me in Discord.

Sign-ups to officially join Living Erenel will begin once WBTT testing has concluded as shown on our content roadmap.

Gamingbrew Campaign

A private campaign run by Brews will be available for Diamond Brewers after the launch of Living Erenel. This campaign will be available for (5) Diamond Brewers and is played every other week, rain or shine. Details to sign up for this campaign will release with the signup sheet coming in March.

Important: If you sign up for the Diamond Brewer tier and the campaign is full, you’ll be on a wait list. It’s important to note that there is no way of knowing when a slot will open. If you join this tier for my campaign, please be aware that you could be in for a long wait.

Erenel Gazette

It’s been a long time in the making, but I’m excited to dive into our monthly magazine. Issue 1 is scheduled for release this March.

Each issue of the Erenel Gazette is packed with 5E-compatible resources and can include additional adventures, player options, GM resources and expanded lore. Be on the lookout for your favorite creators and community members publishing content in the Erenel Gazette! Platinum Brewers have access to the most current and previous 2 releases. All issues of the Erenel Gazette will also be available for individual purchase on the Gamingbrew website.

Now that Wizards of the Coast has moved out of the way, we can finally hit 2023 running! Thank you all for fighting the good fight and allowing me the opportunity to create this content for you.
