Hrólfr's Spawn | Creature Statblock

Today's 5E stat block features lore about the Erenel Primal Deity, Hrólfr! This same stat block is featured in the "To Hunt A Legend" upcoming adventure module release!

Hrólfr, the Primal Deity of ambition, betterment, retribution and wrath, is known throughout the Northlands as the Ancient Wolf. His opponents speak of him like a furious tyrant, yet those who have laid eyes on the Ancient Wolf describe the deity as always interested in personal advancement. People fear Hrólfr because they do not understand him. He is not some powerful force of Evil seeking to impose his will; that would be too simple.

However, he is a being of anger, and his strength comes from the anger mortals experience. When the rage of a large group of people in a small area becomes too overwhelming, the unfortunate side effect of a Spawn of Hrólfr can manifest. These manifestations must be destroyed before their rage consumes the very people who caused its existence.
