Skeleton Mage | Creature Statblock

Today's 5E is a statblock to spice up lower level gameplay. Could also be used to give your necromancer players a cool new undead summon!

A Skeleton Mage can arise when animated by dark magic. Unlike a typical Skeleton, this undead servant bound to the will of its creator retains a small amount of arcane talent. Although it lacks its full potential, Skeleton Mages aren’t mindless and possess enough intellect to cast spells safely behind the more “brutish” undead when threatened.
