Few within the Illuminated Kingdom know that Bishop Anthony Everdawn still walks its roads. Once a respected bishop of Asanna the Blazing Dawn, Anthony died more than eighty years ago while serving the Church in the distant Scabbard Wastes. He should have remained among the honored dead, yet he awoke as a Divine's Wail Risen, an undead shell wrapped in the same sacred scriptures that accompanied his burial. Rather than surrender to despair or embrace the darkness of his undeath, Anthony devoted his second life to proving that undeath is a curse to be broken, not a fate to be accepted. Hidden within the Oathlands, he has spent decades searching for a way to restore himself and others, believing that even the damned are worthy of the light.
