A Curse Upon Thee - Updates

Quick note on A Curse Upon Thee, since I should probably say this plainly before people build the wrong expectations around it.

That story is commission-fed.

Which is why so much of it has been available ungated and public for as long as it has. A big part of that is just because chapters were being paid for already, so I could afford to throw them out there without locking everything behind Patreon tiers.

That also means the update pace on A Curse Upon Thee is not something I can promise on a regular schedule.

If people are paying for chapters, it moves. If they’re not, it slows down. That’s just the reality of how that particular story is being sustained right now.

So if you’ve been reading it like it’s a normal constantly-fed thing where I just have a lot of inspiration, nah — y’all have honestly just been kind of lucky so far.

I’m not saying that to be dramatic. Just being clear so nobody gets blindsided later if the pace shifts.

I like the story. I’m still interested in it. But its update rate is tied to commission demand, not me quietly guaranteeing a stable release schedule in the background.
