ACUT: Finn's Cursed Technique
Flame Among Ashes
焔の灰 (Honō no Hai)
An innate technique that converts cursed energy into a living flame governed by the user’s resolve. It does not burn through fuel, but through asserted will made manifest as heat. The steadier the user’s conviction, the hotter and more stable the flame becomes. Hesitation weakens it. Inner conflict causes it to flicker or collapse outright.
The flame normally manifests around the hands and forearms as a red-gold aura. Its default function is close-range: rather than exploding outward, it deposits concentrated heat at the point of impact. Strikes burn flesh, stress reinforcement, and disrupt cursed forms more effectively than ordinary cursed energy alone. Because the user’s body acts as the furnace, prolonged use causes dehydration, cramping, dizziness, and internal heat strain.
At Grade 3, Flame Among Ashes is a narrow but dangerous melee technique built around direct contact, aggressive pressure, and short exchanges.

Extension Techniques
Burning Brand
延長術式・燃印 (Enchō Jutsushiki: Nen'in)
By focusing for several seconds, the user brands a single object with their flame. The marked object glows white-hot and carries the technique’s heat through every strike, allowing weapons, tools, or surfaces to cut, sear, and cauterize with greater efficiency. Only one object may be branded at a time, and the mark lasts for roughly ninety seconds.
When used against curses strongly shaped by despair, self-loathing, or self-destructive fixation, Burning Brand can leave behind a buried ember of cursed flame that continues smoldering inside the wound, interfering with regeneration even after the weapon is withdrawn.

Our lill match stick finally got his first Cursed Technique! *wipes imaginary tear away* They grow up so fast! I’m so proud! … *snerk* Lol! All joking aside, I’m happy to see Fin finally getting his own CT -an elemental one, no less! BTW, I’d like to know who Finn sounds like to you guys. In my head I occasionally hear him with the voice actor Richard Ian Cox, and sometimes Bryce Pappenbrook, (I have a hard time making up my mind).
Almost sounds similar to blazing courage which brings up disturbing layer to Finns backstory
