Borges was truly beautiful, incredibly humble; in the essay writing how he would never put himself next to the poets he mentioned (Milton, Wilde, Homer etc.). I read it in Spanish, but from what you read the translation seems really accurate. great review boy!
All suggetions are soft suggestions, feel no obligation, patronage not hinging on said suggestions. Awakenings is a book that I cannot recommend too highly. No less a poet than Auden lauded it as a masterpiece. It is of course by Oliver Sacks. Sacks is a footnote beast and slings names around like a lawnmower throws rocks. Uncle Tungsten suggested more reading to me than any single book other. I love books like that; most of my reading has been thus suggested, and art and artists by other artists...
Have you considered reviewing Bob Dylan lyrics?
