Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi EARLY ACCESS for PATRONS ONLY

Pinocchio is easily my favorite classic Disney feature. The animation is beautiful while being disturbing and dark. The panic embedded in the scene where Pinocchio begins to change into a donkey and the Monstro scene is so well done it reaches through the screen. I will say Pinocchio himself is obnoxious but the characters around him, the setting and (again) the animation provide more than enough meat to make it a classic film. I will definitely have to get this book as I like to see what gets left behind when an adaptation is made and it sounds like quite a lot was left behind with Pinocchio.
