Good evenin' y'all, how goes it?

In the final stretch here. We're officially moving to Tempe, Arizona, so that'll be home for now. We like it. Haven't even begun to explore the Phoenix area - it's enormous.

Currently finishing up Cormac McCarthy's All The Pretty Horses (Paid Link).

1. Book to Read: The Directorium Inqisitorum by Nicholas Eymerich (Paid Link)

   The manual of the medieval Inquisition. Discovered this from Justin Sledge's channel 'Esoterica' who called it the scariest book he ever owned. The detail about Poe was compelling.
   

2. Mark Twain named the Southwestern animal we call a 'Jackrabbit'

   Except he called it a 'Jackass Rabbit', due to its ears.
   Turns out they're hares and not rabbits.

4. The March Violets - Snake Dance (NSFW)
   A bizarre and surprisingly raunchy (given the time) video for a killer 1980s Goth track. Found via @missalternative_xo, who has a ton of good stuff on her page.
   

5. Will You Miss Me - Ralph Stanley

   The character Rawlins in All the Pretty Horses sings this tune, though I think the version he had in mind was the one by The Carter Family. Damn good song.
