Cliff, my man - hope all is well and that the move went relatively smoothly. Which leads to my question: I get the impression that you've moved often throughout your life - would that be accurate? I'm curious: why alll the change of scenery? Work, family obligations? Or are you just a guy who likes to experience new environments periodically? Change it up? Onward and upward? Aprreciate what you do Cliff - would love to get that coffee with you one day. Ciao.
Thanks Jason!
How do you get into coffee I love my espresso machine but I was recently in the city for a Midnight gig and I was lost when it came to searching for various coffees.
Thanks Shea!
Any strong pull towards hard to find books? Ones that are out of print and sell for hundreds? Thinking of Darconville’s Cat by Theroux
Thanks Jack!
Is there a literary movement you would love to read more about?
Thanks Igor!
What book impacted you so much that you saw yourself changing your habits in order to either go towards it, or against it?
Thanks Nico!
Who would win in a fist fight, Baudelaire or Bataille? Or maybe even better, Hemingway vs Mishima?
Thanks hallogallo!
What are some of the most disturbing books you ever read hard mode no De Sade or Orwell.
Thanks Shea!
What famous person (without a memoir/biography) fascinates you so much you would want to read a memoir/biography about them? In my case, I like to read one about Sonny Side from "Best Ever Food Review Show," Michele Khare, and Dr. Yoshiro Nakamatsu.
Thanks Robert!
Do you feel proud to be an american ? What things make you nostalgic?
Thanks Azure!
Are you familiar with the person of Charlie Kaufman? And do you heard of his literary debut - novel 'Antkind' from 2020. I haven't read it yet, but it sounds like bizarre, mind-bending, crazy book about movie obsession, film crticism. Is it in your reading plans?
Thanks Artur!
