Better Than Friday - 325

Good evening everyone!

Hope you're joyfully engulfed in festive madness.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Thank you so much for your continued support of the show.

1. To Be Read: Bomarzo by Manuel Mujica Lainez - Approved by both Jorge Luis Borges and Roberto Bolaño (Paid Link)
Disclaimer: I receive books from the publisher NYRB for free for review
A (dead) Italian duke tells the dark, epic story of his life. The premise reminds me slightly of Machado de Assis's The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas.

2. Discussion of Ai, the Occult, and Nick Land on Tucker Carlson

Not a big Tucker Carlson fan, but very surprised to hear this discussion on his show.

3. Werner Herzog's Peruvian Jungle Plane Crash Story
One of the (many) stories of Herzog narrowly avoiding death.

4. Siekiera - Misiowie Puszyści (Szewc Zabija Szewca) | 1980s Polish Post-Punk
