Better Than Friday - 313

Good evening everyone, how are ya?

The world is shifting along with the season, but wherever you are, I hope all is well.
Finished Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", I enjoyed and recommend it.

Review coming soon!

Wishing you a nice Friday evening, thanks so much for your continued support.

1. Greek Tragedy to read: Oedipus Rex by Sophocles (Paid Link)
I was reminded of this one from Kundera's novel above.
The tale of Oedipus plays an important role in the narrative.

2. Philip Roth interviews Milan Kundera

Quite the opening question from Roth haha
That bit about how Kundera recognized Stalinists is going to stick with me.

3. The Horror Film that Scared Glenn Danzig

...And it's an adaptation of a terrific play I've reviewed.

Of all the films Danzig could mention, I never would've guessed it'd be that one - So cool.

4. Nimrod Workman - "Oh Death" filmed by Alan Lomax

A haunting performance, what a face.

5. Stunning set by Ancient Methods and Vatican Shadow

Two pummeling DJ's in one hell of a venue. Wish I'd been there.
Sent to me by friend and patron Lukas - Thank you! Incredible!
