Better Than Friday - 311

Good evening ya'll, how goes?

Editing the next installment of the Sexual Personae series, coming soon.

Hope this finds you well, have a great weekend and thanks so much for supporting the show.

1. Book sent to me by my friend and patron Hayden: Glamorama by Bret Easton Ellis (Paid Link)

The story of a model who becomes a terrorist.

Hayden was very kind to send me a copy previously owned by Nick Cave (photo below).

   Thank you so much man!

2. Hunter S. Thompson on Gonzo Journalism

   The one and only.

3. CRIME
   1970s punk from San Francisco

Brought to my attention by this great looking trailer for a documentary on them via @grizzlypulp.

4. The Mummies "The Fly"

Ah the days when you would turn on the television and see shit like this.

   Found via @stillinrock

5. "The Killing" directed by Stanley Kubrick
A great Kubrick film partly written by Jim Thompson.
Love the dialogue in this scene, the character Maurice is terrific.
