Better Than Friday - 310

Heyo all, how are ya?

Gathering questions for this month's first Patron-Only AMA video.

Many good questions so far, please feel free to post or send me one if you like, and thanks very much.

Thunder, lightning, and rain this hot and humid Floridian evening.

Wishing you a nice weekend. Thanks so much for your continued support.

1. An Oscar Wilde play I need to read: Salomé (Paid Link)

Wilde's take on the story of Herod, Salomé, and John the Baptist.
Featuring cool illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley.

I've been reading about both Wilde's play and Beardsley in Sexual Personae.

2. Sleazy Garage Jam - "Primitive" by The Groupies

The Cramps also did a solid version of this one.

3. Black Flag - My War Live in Ontario 1985 with Henry Rollins on Vocals
1980s Rollins man, what a beast.

4. "The Substance" directed by Coralie Forageat

A modern body-horror comedy that seems to have been an homage to Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. Silly, tragic, and disgusting.

For fans of Cronenberg and Nicolas Winding Refn.

5. The real shark that inspired the cover of "Jaws" via @hebets_arts

Not a Great White, as it turns out.

One from The Vault by my wife, back in Detroit, with a beard that I do not miss.
