Not you goofballs reminding me that I have to do my goddamn taxes.
"He was shot and all the lights turned off" is such an underrated joke. Thanks for that one, Zach. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile.
My frame of reference for The Clapper is Wayne's World. 😆
Definitely ate an entire bottle of flinstones vitamins as a kid and had to have my stomach pumped too!
The boys had me punching the air at the Bambi question
"Toy story is good 9/11 for the show"🤣🤣
Tan M&M mentioned
I need to know how Emily builds these — especially the hints! Felt like we have a lot of Ben Affleck in WDTCO? Like is he her muse?
I enjoyed my Flintstones vitamins but was never jonesing for one. I did once eat like 4 after I eat a piece of cat food on a dare because they seemed like the most strongly flavored thing in the house. I thought it might mask the lingering aftertaste. Instead it was just fake orange flavor mixed with Friskies 🫠
I don’t know what part of my nerdiness makes this my favorite side-show of the podcast, but it definitely is!
Nailed the format, the hints were great, and I always love to hear Zac Oyama on the show. Thanks for this, nice work all!
I can believe for the blue/tan M&M hint, Murph didn’t remember, on 8bit, Em talking about a young Emily role playing searching for the tan M&M after it had been replaced by the blue.
Y'all should release the clues that Emily came up with for the ones that were guessed correctly straight away
I'm
I love Emily’s facts!
Idk if this is a popular opinion but you guys never have to play DND again if you just do this weekly. Such a fun game to play along with and man does it make a car ride FLY
Bring on guests who are different ages for this! I want to hear middle school stories collide!
“I bet you have a lot of stupid shit in there.” 😂 This game is literally my favorite part of naddpod.
Emily’s hints are delightful!👩🍳💋
Hold on Zac is here?? Could that mean the boys are back in town👀
I loved the absolute knowledge drop Caldwell had with the Disney sequels!
How do we make Zac a permanent cast member 🤔
I would love a version of this exclusively about things that came out before 1930. Hell, throw some Bronze Age stuff in there. But Emily has to play this version, so someone can actually win
48:26 Caldwell, the first wave of girl power was decidedly not in the 90s! You have some research to do, my guy 😂 Loved the ep though xoxo
I don’t know what a juggalo is, and I don’t want anyone to tell me, trying to figure it out from this podcasts conversation was an incredible experience
I'm surprised y'all let Zac "Snapping Turtle Attack" Oyama (it's not confusing) back on the show after the incident where he got violent with his fellow Tortles between episodes...
i would listen to 10,000 hours of WDTCO
I keep forgetting everybody doesn't the year Dolly the sheep was cloned wedged right in their head
This show is such a perfect walk down memory lane with all the weird late 90s 2000s stuff lmao. I forgot so many of these random things and details and was genuinely laughing out loud at work
Throwback Thursday for sure started on MySpace

I too watched Jeff Rubin freak out in a frog suit but I was somewhere in PA
The clap heard ‘round the world
The CSI question really threw me because I used to love CSI: Las Vegas which came out in 2000. Apparently, CSI: Vegas was a 2021 reboot/sequel.
I could listen to five hours of this.
God I would be so good at this game but only when the hints come lol.
Love this show, CBS spin-off when?
Nice! On my way home from a gig and I find this ready to listen too
i don’t understand why this show is so fun to listen to but i refuse to question it
I love this show so much 😭 if yall got a 2000s kid on as a guest I think it could break Murph!! Sincerely, A 98' baby screaming at the 2000s questions and in shock at the 80s/90s ones.
Since the hints make the game that much more fun (and to honor all the work Axford must have put into thinking them all up!) a suggestion: ask the initial question, everyone locks in their years, then read the hints. Go around again, if you want to change your answer, you go from a potential 3 points to 1. But this way, we get to hear the hints for all questions.
I don't even think a big rule change is needed, if someone gets it the first round Emily could just read the hint after confirming their point. Even if there's no gameplay reason for it I think we can all agree hearing what was going on that year is half the fun
oh Zac definitely went to Mountain Brook High School
Love how big a fan of battletoads Jork is
Every time you guys say 'toons!' like Homestar Runner a year is added to my life. Please keep making and releasing these, I wanna live forever!;
I completely forgot about the Bieber thing. That’s terrible but also hilarious
Petition to swap dungeon court with when did things come out as the more frequent show
Back in the day flinstone vitamins had lead in them. Actually most vitamins and or calcium supplements had them including tums. How do I know? I was lead poisoned as a baby by calcium meds in the 90s.
So fun! I didn’t want it to end!
Shared oldest sibling experience of getting away with watching younger sibling shows by scoffing “I’m just seeing how dumb it is”
My husband and I also hated the chalkiness of the Flinstone vitamins and both hid them instead of eating them as kids (early 90’s) I used to line them up in the gap behind a bookshelf in the kitchen. His parents found his discard stash behind the refrigerator when they were moving. They were an extreme love or hate for everyone I’ve talked to
collude callay
I got the Bjork one right surprisingly because I minored in political science lol I knew that would be useful someday!
Bjork is still at it! Big fan. Lots of music I would describe as Axford-coded actually
God I love this series
Christian Bale is at your party.
So good. Can't wait for the Whennebago to sweep through again.
The only thorn for this is when they guess during the first run and we don’t get to hear Emily’s excellent history clues.
This is dialed in and so much fun also it is sweeping the nation, or at least my friend group because now we play “when did things come out” game when we bbq
Also I love the hints too
Lately things come out ON TIME! The drops have been so consistent. Sign of a true professional. Thanks gang.
I love these guys. They’re very funny and really good at what they do. Murph is an incredible DM, Caldwell is an amazing artist, Jake created one of the earliest viral internet shows, and Emily is an amazing musician. All that being said: it is almost PHYSICALLY painful how little they know about ANY sort of history. How do none of them know which Apollo mission or what year we landed on the moon?! That’s not an obscure historical moment! Apollo 11 is one of the single biggest achievements in all of human history! Anyway, hilarious show. Great listen. Please keep making it. Sorry for yelling.
I think for a lot of people, the specific year something important happened doesn't stick in the brain as much as "in this era roughly, this important thing happened" especially if it happened before they were born.
Makes sense to bring back When Did Things Come Out with Skaldova returning. Hyped to listen
gods, I love this show lmao
Us 90s kids don’t know Apollo astronauts, we know Matt Hamill, we know star tours
13 yo murph listening to björk is amazing
I love this game show but it acutely makes me percieve the passage of time. Y'all, I may be an old.
This is impeccable radio
The CBC was playing Bambi 2 as a part of their regular Sunday Disney movie broadcast when I was a kid. I was scarred when they played a commercial of the Doctor Who revival featuring Lady Cassandra with the commercial concluding on her exploding.
My Flintstones vitamin memory is blowing my friend’s mind by explaining to her that her parents were lying to her about counting how many were in the bottle
Mine is my sister and her friend dumping them out on the kitchen floor and eating all the grape ones, prompting Mom to call poison control and dose them with ipecac. I bet it was an incredibly common experience.
"You're a battle chode" is a classic Zac line
Loved the intro music
I love this particular series
Ok as someone born in 1969, screw you all for saying people born in 60s and 70s mix things up. Second, are you kidding me with not knowing 60s history? As a card carrying member of Gen X we made snarky commenting on pop culture long before Millennials created Buzzfeed or College Humor. Hell I’ll even give it lefty Boomers who created National Lampoon. I love you guys and Biomer Pooh is a riot but take it easy on us Gen Xers, you’ll thank us later when Z and Alpha are calling you old and outtah touch.
Gen Z and Gen Alpha already call everyone old and out of touch, as is their right. It is the age old tradition of the young razzing the old and it is our honor-bound duty as olds to razz them back.
fuck yeah thank you
Damn I clocked flintstone vitamins immediately
Oooh
It was How to Save a Life by the fray guys
How to trip a bird
Gay
Early comment!
Always love the homestarrunner references
Wow just got home drunk and this came out perfect
I’m having a horrible day today, literally crying, and then I see this instantly pop up on my iPad. Thank you all for the content you make, it brings a smile to so many.
❤️My (newly adopted) nervous indoor cat was missing for a few days a week/two ago and I was really not doing well… So grateful to have the joy of Naddpod in my week. Much love to you, I hope you’re feeling better soon💕 ps. Kitty is back home and doing so well adjusting! No name yet if anyone has ideas. She’s a sweet little tuxedo with long white socks in the back and little ones in the front 🥰 and a little white chin
This is why I turned notifications on
Never clicked on anything faster
Hell yeah, good bike ride home from work, coming up
Listned to pretty much all of campaign 1 on my motorcycle travelling to different work sites
Praise dice Christ
