I'm doing experiments with color this week, the next three pages will all have a different style and after you can compare and I'd like it if you guys could give me feedback on which one you like the best.

So Saiya have dark blue color hair? I didn't know about it. I don't feel that color on Saiya She no more cute for me idk why... but the rest in this page is perfect

wow what a surprise!!! i love the line art, very lively and expressive. the colors are very attractive too. the hue shift on tessa's hair in the highlights and elsewhere brings dimension. the blues and gentle greens are so pleasing with the beige. to me this style is more enjoyable and comic-appropriate than the syd/tina comic. when things are shaded with a lot of detail they can look more "permanent", which is great for a painting, but in a comic it can feel static, whereas these really live from panel to panel. i give 🍣🍣🍣🍣.5 out of 5🍣

I always thought Saiya had a lighter shade of blue than that. Did she dye it darker for more edge factor?
Some of the colors might change a bit with these experiments so don't take them as absolute reference
