Eh, what connection. A shared shame kink? Their seduction dynamic? That about sums up their encounters for most of the story. Meanwhile they just made each other's lives worse and Tessa still refuses to take her own responsibility for it. Never treated eachother normally even once without some sort of ulterior motive, they just used eachother.😐
Why even bother with Tessa, Saiya got completely thrown under the bus by her and i can once again go over how incredibly shallow/toxic that "relationship" was, but just move on already. Getting this vexed/jealous cause of a girl who'se out to hurt her that quickly, and the fixation itself, just ain't worth it. And with their mutual harmful history (and towards Aika) there's no real valid reason to root for it. It seems pretty odd on Saiya's part to help Aika but also think that Tessa, the cause of some of her problems (who had her own role where she herself ended up) and obstacle to her relationship with Aika, is even still her responsibility anymore or worthy of attention, after breaking up (for Fani) and how she got treated by her the day prior. Even if there was some sort of miscommunication or total lack thereof, Tessa's reaction was just entirely unwarrantly venomous and a red flag to stay away from her, one of many. I wish she'd just pick up on that.
This unfortunately happens a lot on when a toxic couple broke Up, as seen on page 721, saiya herself doesnt understand why she IS affected by this "loss" despite never really liking her. I Guess the fact that she doesnt let herself to be with Aika since she thinks she doesnt deserve kind of sums Up in a way or another

Saiya doesn't actually want Aika. Aika's dominate personality completely turned her off. She already fuck'd up with Tessa so many times, but I feel that at the end of the Tessa really just wants Saiya, but will see how this plays out. Saiya still has her imaginary friend at home lol
