I feel like very few people understand what she's likely doing, and I find this confusing. She feels lost, trapped, out of control, and likely hates herself. She cannot comprehend that people still like her, despite her flaws. She cannot understand that people are upset at her _because_ they like her, despite her flaws. What she's doing isn't a plot, a ploy for attention, an attempt to make herself feel better at everyone else's expense; she genuinely thinks she's screwed up beyond redemption and she wants to atone any way she can, but she doesn't know how. Am I crazy? Am I the only one seeing this? Also, is she neurodivergent? Because that would 100% explain why she has such a hard time understanding other people, and why it feels so obvious to me.
