Saiya still continues to be my favorite character in this comic. She is a realistically written girl who struggles heavily with trauma, mommy issues, self doubt, body dysmorphia, and self control issues. She truly is a good person who doesn’t understand how to control all of this yet and is learning how her actions can affect others. I truly believe Fani will be the one to help Saiya come to terms with her problems and help her overcome them because she was around for much of the cases that led to the current issues. I’m hopeful she can help Saiya to develop healthier coping mechanisms for them, even if that leads to Saiya gaining weight and ending up larger. I know it’s cliche, but if Saiya, Tessa, and Aika don’t all end up together, then I’d love to see Tessa and Saiya end up together as I truly believe while they have similar desires and can feed into those self control issues they have helped each other in many ways such as Tessa developing into a nicer and more down to earth person and Saiya learning to be confident in her own skin. While all three of our main girls are flawed, I do want a happy ending for all of them.
How does Tessa & Saiya ending up together, the most toxic "couple" you could imagine, lead to a happy ending for Aika? The only alternative would be Stacy, but how is she any better given her exploitative history with Tessa, the fact they barely spent time together and that she doesn't seem to appreciate Aika's size? Tessa most likely (only just now) realized trying to break up Saiya and Aika was the wrong thing to do. It would feel like a relationship with a stain on it and she knows it. It also would feel way too rewarding for something she's been (spitefully) doing for about the majority of the story. Meanwhile, Saiya & Aika don't want to give up on eachother. That much they made clear. And then there's if Saiya tries with Fani like we all suspect she will, it means she's just as able to cheat on Tessa as soon as some other girl drawing her attention comes along. A loyal one-on-one relationship will never work like that, not with Aika or Tessa. So my conclusion is; they all end up together or nobody will end up happy.
