Wait what, the church? ... How are they going to fix what they don't even tolerate? What she, Tessa and Aika want is incompatible with how the church looks at things, besides, isn't this *her* responsibility? Having a biased middle party doing the work for her won't solve anything but probably make things even worse. There's probably more than one reason why Aika left them quite easily without looking back. One of them not being accepting of who she is; their rigid/inflexible dogmatic ideologies.
That wasn't an issue. They tolerated Aika's weight gain just fine. They found it annoying, but tolerated it. Saiya pushing her down inside of the church and being sexually intimate inside of the church was the last straw. Aika was happy being a member of the church, Hell the church was evening paying for Aika's living expenses, another thing Saiya messed up.
