Pose Plans for 2026
As for my pose plans for the New Year, I will be continuing doing a few more solo/modelling animations and dance animations. Will also be giving couple dance animations a try and maybe placing them in a cutscene.
I do not think I will be releasing any couple still-poses any longer as this is already completely saturated in the modding market right now.
After teaching some on how to do poses months back, I’ve decided to leave that part completely since I think, during that time, there were already enough people doing poses for the community. Things will go repetitive and it will be just too messy (as we might’ve probably witnessed). So, it was time for me to pass the torch, move on and learn something new.
Maybe I’ll release one or two as a bonus to the animations pack, but otherwise, I do not think I’ll make a complete whole pack of it any longer.
Though, I am planning to do Renaissance paintings poses but that’s just about it when it comes to me and couple still-poses.
If anyone wants to learn how to pose, the tutorial of Kit and Lumadaire’s that were first to publish are really good (Kit provided the rigs and Lumidaire was the first ever contributor to BG3 poses and was super generous to share how to input it in the game with everyone). I suggest reading theirs. It is also available to the public in BG3wiki. (Please don’t forget to give them thanks because if it wasn’t for them and their tutorials, we wouldn’t be able to do poses in the game).
(Couldn’t provide a link right now because I’m typing this in mobile).
PS. I actually still use a lot of in-game animations in my VP (thanks to Rakor for providing us access to those in-game animations). I still find a lot of the them are so good with poses. You just have to find the right animation for it.
