Ahoy-hoy, SWEeties!

We hope the debauchery you indulged in this past Pride Month was plentiful and robust! We hate to see it come to an end, but love to watch it climax. However, with this earth-shattering conclusion comes a newer, spicier month! One filled with beans and high temperatures: Wrath Month! As we all know, this is the special time of year when we all embrace the hate and bile within our wretched souls and wreak righteous fury across the land. Like the Purge, but all month instead of a single night. Satan damn us, everyone!

As we do our best to duck the violent reprisals of our numerous foes, taking shelter in our various editing dungeons, we find ourselves with a wealth of time to work on our projects. As such, we are very happy to inform y’all that the world premiere of the Sword Art Online Abridged Alfheim finale will take place in the grand city of Montreal at Otakuthon, August 7th-9th!!! That’s right! We’re gonna be guests! We got panels! Panels where we’ll show things! SWE THINGS! And more! THINGS! Also in SAO news, this Thursday sees the release of something we honestly never thought we’d see: an SAO game that actually looks… good? We know! It sounds insane to us, too! An SAO game that doesn’t appear to be some slapped-together bullshit port of a shitass mobile game with three-hour cutscenes that say FUCKING NOTHING?! Inconceivable!

…You may be able to discern that we have been hurt in the past. You would be correct. Don’t worry, though; we’re over it. That’s why our therapists won’t take our calls anymore!

And so, from this coming Thursday (July 9th) to Saturday (July 11th), we’ll be playing Echoes of Aincrad across three streams on YouTube and Twitch! Come hang out with us and be amazed by the game we’ve dreamed of for far too long AND DEFINITELY WON’T LET US DOWN OR ELSE! =D

Man, that reminds us that we’re in Wrath Month for some funny reason. The brain truly works in mysterious ways. With all this SAO content, you’d think we were in Greed Month. You know… December? When all the children of the world are consumed by pure, unfiltered capitalism? Some fools think December is actually Sloth Month, but that’s clearly January based on how many people buy gym memberships they never use. Which is a damn shame considering it’s followed by Lust Month. You’d think they’d want to be in peak form for the globe-spanning orgy and all. But nooooo, they’d rather let Envy Month take hold of them in March as they hear about all of the sex they missed out on! That’s why St. Patrick’s Day is also in March; cuz everybody’s so green with envy and Irishness that they have to drink their envy away. You’d think that would make March Gluttony Month, but that’d be stupid. You forgot about Thanksgiving in October AND November. That’s right, so engorged with SIN is Gluttony that it devours 2 months, which you might argue is also greedy, but that insinuation makes us mad, bringing us back to Wrath Month.

But what of April, May, August, and September, you ask! You’re quite right to inquire. As obscure as they are, there are still more sins worthy of a month-long celebration, like farting in an elevator (May), farting in a car (September), farting in the pool and a little bit of poop comes out (August), and tax evasion (April). So remember, you got a year to hit all of these! If you don’t sin, then Jesus died for nothing!
