FM Ball Converter v1: bring your PES balls to FM26
There are hundreds of great match balls made for PES 2020 and 2021 by the community. FM Ball Converter is a new free tool that turns them into match balls for Football Manager 26.
It works hand in hand with FM Kit Switcher: the converter prepares the balls, and Kit Switcher is the plugin that puts them on the pitch. Kit Switcher already comes with 160+ balls; FM Ball Converter is for adding your own and for deciding which ball each competition uses.
⚠️ What you need
- FM Kit Switcher installed in Football Manager. This is required: without it, the game keeps its own ball. Get it here: https://fmkitshub.com/tools/kit-switcher
- Balls made for PES 2020 or 2021: the ball folder of the mod or its .zip.
⚽ Converting a ball
- Drag the ball folder or the mod's .zip onto the window, or use Choose folder / Choose .zip. One ball, a pack with many, or several .zip files at once.
- The app finds the Kit Switcher balls folder of your FM26 on its own (Steam). Click Convert balls and each ball is saved in its own folder, with a preview.
- Click any ball to see it bigger and spin it.
- Your PES files are only read, never changed, and nothing inside a downloaded .zip is ever run.
🏆 The right ball for every competition
The Competition map tab edits the map Kit Switcher reads before every match:
- Search any of the 7,900+ FM competitions by name, short name, country or id.
- Pick the ball from a gallery with the preview of every ball you have.
- Set a winter ball, or tell a competition to keep the game's own ball.
- Competitions without a ball use the ball of the country's top league.
- It saves right away and applies from the next match. In the Kit Switcher window you can still pick any ball for a single match.
🧹 And a few extras
- Organize existing balls brings older balls to the current format: one folder per ball, preview inside and textures resized to 1024 px (smaller downloads, same look in the game).
- Six languages: English, Português, Español, Français, Deutsch and Italiano.
- It updates itself: when a new version comes out, the app shows a banner and installs it in a few seconds. Every update is digitally signed and checked before it runs.
- No installer and no account: it is a single .exe.
🛠️ How to use
1. Install FM Kit Switcher (if you have not yet).
2. Open FM Ball Converter and drop a PES ball folder or .zip.
3. Click Convert balls.
4. In the Competition map tab, select the competitions and click Use as ball. Done: the ball is in your next match.

Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time, because the app is new and not code-signed yet. Click More info and then Run anyway. You can check the file with the SHA-256 shown on the download page.
